It seemed that all the Alexandra staff were out to help move the luggage from the coach drop. The hotel was warm and the rooms were spacious, although typically of Austria - corridors had stuffed animals. All the hosts were pleasant. Aperitifs and canapes were varied and the food and the compimentary wine provided were tasty.A shuttle bus stopped outside for those who would not walk the 400 metres to the nearest chairlift. A number of guests skied back to the door with all the snow! The people in Lech generally were most agreeable (despite earrings being for sale in shops at 500,000 euros). The resort justly merits its high rating. A dump of snow may have briefly cut it off from the world but it still ran like clockwork. The skiing is very varied (try route 37 if you think its too easy) and the rest of the large Arlberg ski area was easy enough to access. Total Ski did a good job. Would we return - sure.
