The location is excellent with a short walk into the main town and cable cars.

The staff are all very hard working, helpful, friendly and competent.

The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are serviced every day, except Wednesday which is the staff day off.

Breakfast is excellent with a full English available (incredibly rare in Austria) as well as the usual continental, cereals, etc plus a wide selection of juices, teas, and coffee etc. Packed lunch was provided with your choice of sandwich fillings.

A bonus is that tea/coffee is available all day, in the lounge, just help yourself. Cake is served each day at 4pm.

The main meals are excellent, as usual with Inghams chalets. But don’t expect to sit in the same seats each night and don’t expect to have a nice cosy evening to yourselves - as you are seemingly randomly allocated seating with other guests, that changes every night. That’s fine, depending on who you get put next to!!! Reminded me of school teachers splitting you up from your friends! Some couples did get a table to themselves all week. Seems a little unfair. However the complimentary wine was a nice touch.

Didn’t use the pool or Sauna area but am told it was ok, if a little small.

My one gripe is that the sleep quality in this hotel is poor. This is a noisy hotel – not in terms of other guests moving about and being noisy but in terms of either – the river raging outside your window if you are a room overlooking the river (impossible to sleep with your window open I am told), or in room 11 where I was, clunking pipes clunking and banging all night, and some sort of generator that comes on at about 6.50 am each morning. This in addition to creaky floorboards upstairs and the people in the room next to me seemingly getting up and ready for the day at about 5.30am every day! The pillows are awful – feather pillows , very soft and no support. The bed in room 11 is uncomfortable – I ended up sleeping on the sofa at the other end of the room as that end of the room was quieter (couldn't hear the pipes clunking!) and the sofa was probably more comfy than the bed! I didn’t have a good night’s sleep – shame as you need a lot of energy for walking in Austria!

That said, the rest of the stay was outstanding and very enjoyable. Good value for money in this day and age and the Lech card is also an added bonus.

Room Tip: Avoid room 11 and rooms overlooking the river as they are noisy.

First time with Inghams and we really enjoyed it. Food good - Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner with wine, plus tea and cake at 4pm and tea/coffee available 24hr in bar area.Good for couple travelling alone(like us) as dinner seating changed each night and we met lots of nice people. Surprised to find most of staff from UK - all very good and helpful from manageress and deputy manageress downwards. All guests elderlyish walkers at this time of year. Good location near centre of this charming village. Lech Card included giving free use of local buses and cable cars etc.

Room Tip: Rooms on opposite side to river are quieter.

We have just returned from a superb 2 week holiday in lech . The team at the Elisabeth are hard working and are always friendly and helpful. We had room a1 on the first floor, very spacious and comfortable. The food is excellent and the free wine went down well. Flights were on time and transfers easy, thank you inghams for a memorable holiday.

Inghams are being, shall we say, rather economical with their description as to twin rooms. We felt rooms 21 and 11 are suitable for a single parent plus child but definitely NOT for a couple. The second bed is very much a converted sofa bed arrangement with a firm wooden base and in room 11 there are three stained cushions that serve as a "mattress". Room 21 does have a mattress but in our opinion is still not acceptable as a "twin" room.
Also be aware that if you expect to fly in via Innsbruck [the most convenient] Inghams switched us to Salzburg after we had made full payment, meaning we had a 4/4.5 hour transfer to this resort. Speaking to other guests we realised that this was not a one-off occurrence and not just from Leeds/Bradford.
Lech is a great resort and although under pressure the local Inghams staff work hard to run the hotel but are being let down by the marketing/bookings department and the accommodation they have to offer.

Thank you for taking the time to review your Inghams holiday experience, recenttraveller2017.
We describe both rooms 11 and 21 as twin rooms, offering a single bed & a single sofa-bed in an alcove. Indeed, we have found these rooms popular with friends travelling together, or parent/child arrangements, but of course appreciate that they are not best-suited to couples and regret that you were unaware of this.
As regards your flights, we were unfortunately let down by the carrier at extremely short notice and were required to make alternative arrangements which, as you know, saw a change from Innsbruck to Salzburg. We did try our best to source an alternative carrier to operate this tricky route into Innsbruck, a notoriously difficult airport to fly into and one that requires specific pilot and crew training. We're sorry that this impacted on the travel element of your holiday.

Firstly it's felt hats off to Chrissy who knew from the Chalet Lucas in Mayerhofen and her team. They were friendly, fun and informative not to mention hard working. The food was great and varied as my new spare tyre can testify. The rooms were good and comfortable. Lech is an upmarket ski resort but good value in the Summer. Lots of low and high level walks all with huts en route. We tried to eat our packed lunch for elevenses to leave room for a light lunch, beer or hugos. Also had to get back for cake then aperitifs followed by dinner. You are on your holidays after all! Thanks also to Jack and Julie for the wonderful trip to Lake Constance where we spotted kites and a Zeppelin. I'd avoid a room over the angry wee river. We tried a la Hunter S Thomson to treat it as white noise but it was a racket if you had the window open for the heat.
