Top service and Location

I would like to commend the Sofitel Noosa Pacific on their service level. It was an excellent standard.
We loved our stay with you and would gladly stay again in the future. We particularly loved the river view and thought the location and breakfast was excellent.
The room itself feels in need of a bit of a refresh as the carpets had a few stains and the couch was poor. The room service burger was decidedly average at best. But overall these points of improvement didn't negatively influence the great stay we had.
Highly recommend and would stay again.

Just finished an amazing stay at Sofitel Noosa. The resort location and facilities can’t be faulted, and I’m really looking forward to coming back next Summer.

The resort is centrally located just behind Hastings St, but has direct access to it also, making it extremely convenient for night strolls to restaurants etc.

The hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and nothing was too much to ask.

Would highly recommend

Room tip: Would recommend the Pool View room if it’s in your budget

We just loved our stay soo much we’re sad to leave and two nights wasn’t long enough.
Hotel and staff
5 star experience from arrival, valet parking, welcome drinks and fabulous service in every aspect. Concierge is fantastic, front desk, pool, restaurants and housekeeping (twice a day!)
Our room 439 was huge, huge bathroom in an open like suite and balcony overlooking the pool.

Pool
AMAZING and we spent every day here at least 5hrs. Enough pool lounges to accommodate everyone and we loved the swim up bar.

Buffet breakfast is spectacular selections

Overall the location is the best, it’s the most luxurious and we loved it. Beach across the road, shops at your door step, best restaurants surrounding you. And with a car valet parking only $35

The Accor brand and the Sofitel name live up to all your expectations here. As a Accor gold member I was truly looked after,

Highly recommended

Bonjour samanthajoanne1974,

It sounds like you had an absolutely incredible experience at the hotel! Your description paints a vivid picture of luxury and relaxation, reminiscent of the French Riviera but with the unique charm of Noosa. The attention to detail from the moment you arrived, the spacious room with a stunning view, and the amazing pool area all contributed to making your stay unforgettable.

The buffet breakfast seems to have left quite an impression with its spectacular selection, and the convenience of having shops and restaurants nearby added to the overall appeal of the location.

It's wonderful to hear that, as an Accor gold member, you felt truly valued and well taken care of throughout your stay. Thank you for sharing your recommendation – it's evident that the Sofitel in Noosa has left a lasting impression, and I'm sure many others will be eager to experience it for themselves.

Warm Regards,

Vianne Birrell

On arrival for a long awaited stay at this hotel, we were immediately told our room was ready and we made our way to room 230. I had booked a Superior Room with River View. The view from our room was not a river view. Being on the ground floor we had a view mainly of a bridge and very little river and certainly nothing like the view in the photos on the website. The room also smelled musty and damp. It was dull, tired and in need of a revamp. I spoke to the Duty Manager and asked her to move us to another room as I believed this room not to be of the standard I expect from a Sofitel and also that because we had paid for this room using our BA Avios points (350,000) that I felt we had been given the worst room in the hotel. She assured me this was not the case and explained that the hotel was full for the weekend but she had moved us to room 334. On entering that room, we saw our view was blocked by trees so still not real view of the river/sunset or mountains. The room again was musty and smelled of damp. The bathroom is very old with a fixed shower head and a spa bath that has seen better days. The lighting is appalling and the bathroom has none of the luxury that you expect from a 5* resort. There are few power sockets in the room and none with USB connections and a TV with a few basic channels. The pool and surrounding area are 3* at best with sun loungers crammed so close together there is no privacy from the stranger next to you, the pool, itself is cracked with numerous tiles missing around the edge and the swim up bar is constantly frequented by small children who consume food/ice cream etc which then goes into the pool. We ate at the Noosa Beach House Restaurant which was lovely with fantastic service and food. The Noosa Beach House Bar also served very nice food however, the attitude of some of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. To be told by staff at 2050 hrs that they have shut the coffee machine down so that you can’t have a coffee when they don’t close until 2130 hrs is unacceptable especially in an establishment that sells itself as a 5* resort. On a previous evening we tried to get a coffee and were told by reception that we would have to order it from room service, again at 2030hrs. Then we come to housekeeping. Mugs, plates and glasses weren’t washed and there was no duvet cover ever put on the duvet, just a sheet protecting you from whomever had slept in the bed before (not pleasant). Whilst the towels were plentiful, they were cheap, hard and anything but luxurious. We also appeared to be the only room without any seat cushions on our balcony chairs. We have stayed at many luxury 5* resorts around the world, including Australia. This is not a 5* resort. There is no element of luxury and certainly no element of Parisian elegance. It rather reminded us of hotels on the Spanish Costas in the late ‘70’s and I would rate it at a 3* property if that. We had hoped that we had found a resort we would be able to frequent on a regular basis but having wasted 350,000 avios points on this stay, looking at the prices the hotel charges for substandard accommodation and some staff who have no idea about how to provide a 5* service, I doubt we will return especially as I expect more from Sofitel being a long term and loyal Accor member.

Room tip: The pool is full of young children and unless you want to pay $400 for a cabana, there is no getting away from children.

The service at this hotel is 6 star. On arrival we were taken to a room for our check in and given a glass of Bollinger. The two lovely girls Jamaica and Antonella were just delightful. I think this hotel’s check in experience would top any world hotel. The receptionists and concierge were very helpful and not to mention the lovely room attendants. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from as were the wait staff. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Noosa.
