Lovely safe beach for little kids who can paddle or play in the sand. Some shade available back from the beach, or take your own shelter. Car parking can be a problem so allow time to find one.

we spent a couple of hours here and the kids loved it. visitors are well cared for with a trailer that hired out aquatic equipment, umbrellas etc. lockers are for hire. one downside was lack of indoor showers. personally enjoyed little cove beach more

Beautiful beach with easy access, an extensive boardwalk and safe surf along the entire beach. Many shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance along with various levels of accomodation.
You could be anywhere in the world and not find such a beautiful stretch of sand. Three hour parking next to the surf club is handy if you are patient enough to wait for a spot.
Only 1/2 hour drive from Maroochydore and well worth the trip.

Wonderful… perfect place to swim. Stunning views. Super warm, patrolled and amazing beach.

Easy to access by public transport but parking if you drive is no good

Noosa is an up-market destination popular for locals and travelers taking in some of Australia's best swimming, dining and shopping. Noosa is located on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, easily accessible from Brisbane. Nosa Main Beach is popular for vacations and summer holidays. Surfers like the Beach. It's good for swimming, although in some places rips are threatening. Th Main Beach has golden sand; it's patrolled by life savers. It's one of Queensland's favorite beaches. Noosa Main Beach is 1.2 km (i mile) long.
