Be sure to note that you have to catch a ferry to get here!! Costs $14.00 each way with a caravan - $7.00 each way with a car for a 2 minute ferry ride! The park is quite basic with only power supplied but no water to powered sites, so you have to carry buckets to your caravan. Showers are charged at $1.00 for 4 minutes. Amenities are very basic but the big stretch of beach and abundance of birds and kangaroos makes up for it. TV reception can be a bit hit and miss too.

Room tip: I booked a powered caravan site

Picturesque Secluded beach, friendly relaxed environment, extremely friendly native Australian wildlife, especially the birds ! Ideal for couples retreat or family fun exploring! This is not luxurious but back to nature!

Amazing outdoor experience - 2 night stay in April. You get your pick of beach or bush (tree covered) camp spots. Get there early if you want a beach spot as they go quick and you cannot pre-register. The critters were abundant. We shared a site with all the birds and some well mannered Kangaroos and one alpha lookin' goanna.

Some things to know:
This is a mosquito haven! Get ready to get eaten up.
Load up on Mozzy Spray, and sandlewood incense (those seemed to work for us!)
You can only access this site via is a $7 ferry ride. (SUPER easy!)
The ferry is open late and runs often
This stop is gated so you will be issued a gate key (don't screw this up!)
I assume this is to prevent squatters and overcrowding on the beach.
There is a small shop for treats and a chat.
Showers are $1 (coins) per 5 minutes. And the bathrooms are kept quite clean
Washing machines are available, but there was always a line.
There is a laundry mat in town, just hit that up if you need.

TLDR
Super chill - Loads of bugs - Loads of Kangaroos - AMAZING Outdoor experience <3

Room tip: The beach site's are over rated. Get yourself a cozy secluded bush site!

Great spot with many varied camp spots either exposed or hidden in the trees. Really depends on how far you are prepared to walk to the facilities. All in all, great place to visit, just remember the long barge line up on the way home.
