New ownership since last year but still great quality food right on the beach. My wife had the seafood linguine, kids had the fish and chips and I had the snapper. Everyone was very happy with our meals. Served quickly, prices were reasonable for Noosa. Wine selection was good at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

I know I rarely give excellent ratings, but this place is just better than very good. This is a food lovers place - not a good bacon eggs with flat white cafe - there is plenty of options in Noosa for this. These guys love flavor and it shows big time. The beef cheeks are a great example, as is the corn hash and the maple bacon. Remarkable coffee and yet to find better in Noosa seriously. Sell your kid to get a table on the beach window and go on prove me wrong!

Great location and very attentive staff. We both ordered the Grilled Snapper with braised lettuce, peas, onion, bacon, mash. The Snapper was perfectly cooked and the mash was quite subtle on the palate. My partner ordered the Pink Lady Apple, Rhubarb Crumble, Cinnamon Ice cream, with Sailor Jerry Custard for dessert. The dessert was very well presented and not too sweet. The Rhubarb and Apple had a nice pleasant tang and when combined with the ice-cream or custard you experienced a different taste sensations. The main meals were medium sized. All round it was an average meal the price just didn't match. For 1 glass of red, two mains, 1 dessert and 1 bottle of water we paid $107.00. Way too expensive!

We had a dinner for six at Boardwalk on the Beach.
It was, unfortunately, a very cool night in Noosa, and we were placed at the beach end of the restaurant.
The sliding glass panels which were "closed", do not seal. The wind from the sea was blasting through the 2cm gaps, and it was COLD.
The owner was asked if he could do anything about it, like inserting some table cloth in the gaps to seal it, and he arranged that, but it didn't fix the problem, as all other gaps remained open.
They really need to address this and make sure the sliding panels actually seal when the wind off the sea is blowing at night.
No one had entree.
The main orders for our group were grilled barramundi, steak, spatchcock, and I had seafood linguini. Fortunately, there was no calamari in it, which is often used as a cheap filler for such a dish.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choice of food, and the seafood linguini was excellent.
The owner was quite obliging with his attempt to seal the gaps and would have done even more had we complained further, which we chose not to do.
We gave the restaurant VERY GOOD based on the quality of the food. The service was very good.

Thank Dom C
