49 members of our Social Group turned up to board the Friday Night Floating Canal Cruise and 7 of our members including me, couldn't board because the boat was full, but we weren't told that could be the case!....Two weeks earlier the Mandurah Cruise office failed to outline or highlight that to me when I rang them, that there was a possibility we may not all get on if people didn't disembark, otherwise I would have advised our social group and made them aware of that possibility. ...The captain of the boat was not empathetic of our plight and simply said 'that's the way it is' which was highlighted the representation of the company?
Our group is over 300 members in the Mandurah area but after watching me and 7 other members have to walk away and find something else to do, none of our members want to participate again. Very disappointed with Mandurah Cruises.

Hello Margit B,

We are so sorry to hear some of your members were not able to board the floating bar cruise - unfortunately this tour is one that cannot be booked or guaranteed spots and apologise the office did not portray this message clearly.

As you can appreciate we cannot put more passengers on the boat than legally allowed therefore cannot guarantee all of your members a seat if they did not board at the same time.

We appreciate your support in the past and hope this does not deter you away from any of our other tours or private charters.

Warm Regards,
The Mandurah Cruises Team

Mandurah cruises take you through the canals off dolphin quay in Mandurah. We were lucky enough to have a couple of dolphins, swim along side us for a while, my 3 year old son loved it. It is very calm on the canals, so ne need to worry about sea sickness. It was raining on the day we went, some seats on the very front of the top level of the boat got wet, but you stayed nice and dry where we sat about half way down. Even with the rain, we had a great view of the canals and big houses lining them.
For a better view, it was possible to go right up the front on the bow of the boat.
I went with my husband and1 and 3 year old sons we all enjoyed it, although some parts were a bit slow going for the littlies. The highlight was definitely seeing the dolphins which I understand is not guaranteed.
