I visited Perth for a business conference and had the great pleasure to stay at the Como bed and breakfast. I was greeted by Helen, a charming and gracious host, and shown around my spotless and very well appointed apartment. Very comfortable beds, with quality linen; a spacious bathroom and a roomy lounge area leading out to a balcony that overlooked a green and leafy park. This B&B is a short walk from small shopping strips and the Swan river and about 15 minutes by car to the Perth Cbd. The continental breakfast and cooked options was generous and extensive. Will happily return.

This is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. It is much more than a B&B more a home from home. All the previous reviews have summed it up perfectly so there is no need to repeat it again . We arrived home yesterday and are missing it and Helen who is the nicest host you will ever meet. We visit Perth regular and will not consider any other alternative accommodation.

After having you stay with us for over two weeks, I am missing you both. You were amazing guests and of course we would be delighted if you returned again. We had a lot of fun while you were here and I must say that a certain chappie called Banjo is missing you too.
Thank you for writing a review for us. It was most appreciated. Regards Helen

My friends and I spent our last 2 nights in Perth at Como B&B. Initially, I was a little bit apprehensive about staying together with the host or with some other tourists but my worries were allayed when we were told that we would have the second floor of the house all to ourselves. The host Helene said she will only accept one booking each time as the bathroom is connected to both the rooms. So even if you are a lone traveller, you will get the whole upstairs to yourself. However, staying upstairs means you got to carry your luggage up the stairs. Not so convenient if you have elderly or kids.

One of the rooms has a double bed, the other a double and a single, so it's good for a family of 5 or 6. The host provided us with bedroom slippers, toiletries, towels, bathrobes... you name it, you have it! We soaked our tired legs in the bathtub with the muscle soothing bath gel provided in the toilet.

Living room area has a TV, DVD player and a ipod player. There are some DVDs in the drawers too. Next to the dining area is a tiny pantry with a fridge, supplies of tea and coffee, cereals, kettle, toaster, microwave oven etc. There are milk, juices, bread, yoghurt in the fridge. Though they are meant for breakfast but you can have them as and when you like it. The host prepared a plate of fruits every evening for us. The breakfast menu has many choices to choose from. I had Egg Florenitine and English Breakfast for 2 different morning and both were delicious!

Location of the B&B isn't so convenient if you do not drive. There is a shopping mall nearby the B&B and a nice park just opposite it. We enjoyed our morning walk there. We were glad we stayed at Como B&B for our last two nights in Perth as it ended our trip with a sweet sweet note :)

Clean, spacious, well appointed and in a great location. No one has mentioned the beautiful park just across the road, with resident black swans and a great children's playground. You can watch from your balcony or take a stroll through. Plenty of eating options close by - we just had fish and chips from Ley's Fish Supply - that was quick and well cooked, but there were plenty of more exotic choices, including Nepalese. However, the B and B was really well stocked with all the helpful little touches - bathrobes, toiletries, even facial cleansers, and plenty of bread, cereal, milk, juice, spreads, teas, milo, plunger coffee, biscuits - nothing was forgotten. Then a fresh platter of fruit arrived to top it all off. The cooked breakfast choices were numerous, our choices were delicious and beautifully presented along with the morning paper and a "proper coffee". Wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely make this our go to spot when visiting Perth.

Room Tip: Only one suite, but it was quiet and private.

We stayed at this delightful B&B for the first three nights of our holiday to WA, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Helen is the most gracious hostess, and her cooked breakfasts are to die for! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated in understated style, and the bed was marvellously comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied, and the location is well placed for sightseeing around Perth city. Local train station is only a ten minute walk away, with a fast trip into the city. There is a lovely park across the road for leisurely walks alongside the water. We could not recommend this establishment more highly.
