We booked into the motel about 4 30 in the afternoon after having a very pleasant day sightseeing around the area. It was our 54 anniversary. Having stayed at the amaroo a few times decided that would be the place fir the night. Arrived back after having a very enjoyable meal ready for a nice hot shower which never happened my husband went down to see the manager. "Who said he was surprised he had had trouble in other parts of the motel but not where we were" he said he would check the heater and explained some people have a long shower. The motel was not busy ,we waited for 1 hour but still know hot water so no shower. In the morning thinking over night the it would have recovered but again no hot water. Very disappointing We will not be staying there again

I booked it thinking knowing it was an older style hotel. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised - it was an older hotel - but it was very clean and tidy and in great condition. 5 minute walk to the local shopping center and about 6 fast food places within a couple of hundred meters. Main street is walking distance (if you want) with lots to do and see and great choice of places to eat. I will be staying here net time I go to Busselton.

The Amaroo Motel is a budget motel on a the Bussell highway. Rooms are clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful.
Within easy walking distance of the town centre and also the medical campus. Fast food outlets at are close and restaurants just a little further away.

Unit was clean, peaceful & comfortable. Though old style interior, it was clean, peaceful and comfortable. Very enjoyable was the walking proximity to eateries, Dome coffee shop and Busselton's main shopping areas.

The rooms are very simple and the motel (exterior) styling is a little reminiscent of the 70's and 80's even with a coat of paint.

However, they are clean. The bed was really comfortable with a great choice of several pillows (soft/medium/firm) AND they made the bed and changed the towels every day. The cost was definitely NOT exorbitant and well priced for the six days we were there.

The motel is easily within walking pace of the centre of town and close to cafes and restaurants. They also have a laundry with machine, dryer, iron and ironing board set up for use 12 hours of the day.

The absolute clincher for me though was getting a phone call from the motel after we'd left to say that I'd left a somewhat expensive watch behind. I would not have known and would've assumed it had disappeared at the airport.

Honesty is so underestimated these days so Amaroo get kudos when they could have just said nothing. Thank you

Thank you for your positive comments. We purchased the property and business in July and have been working to ensure a clean comfortable experience for our guests. We have a refurbishment plan developed which will see an upgrade of the units progressively over the next couple of years. We hope to see you again for next years Ironman event.
