The first time we came, the staff were rude and not approachable. Thought we would try then again so Came to collect a takeaway order, only to then be told they were out of prawns - should have told me that when I placed the order. As we were waiting, saw the cook staff walk through the store with bag of frozen prawns. The pizzas were not great. The customer service was very poor as they were not sympathetic.
We will not be coming back and we would not be recommending them.

I am very confused as to where you have seen and when the person coming in with a bag of prawns. As we do have a back entrance and if we would bring food in from the supermarket we would not have come through the front door.As for the pizzas it is possible to have some ingredients missing as we are quite busy and sometimes we run out of stuff. But then we apologise for not being able to make the pizza and offer other alternatives.

Fantastic base - charred & chewy. Perfect tomato base - fruity and not acidic. Thin base. Traditional selection of toppings. Only down point is the doof music - at odds with the care given to the devor, tables & food.

We were seven girls who came at alto for dinner and we spent a great evening there. This establishment was advised by two italian friends and indeed the pizzas were delicious and the staff really nice. I was disappointed not to see tiramisu on the menu but as we had to wait around 20 minutes for the pizzas (the dough was in preparation), they offered us at the end two nutella pizzas to share !! I recommend the arancini (13$) and the altro margherita (19$).
Anyways thank you very much Altro and see you soon!

We made a second attempt at this pizza place as being new to the area we are looking to find our fav restaurants- we will never return to this one. The first time service was very slow and pizza half cooked but, for our sins, we tried again.

We arrived at 5.30 to an empty restaurant (not surprising given the time). Having a 4 year old we want to find a child friendly place - this is not one of them.

As we waited and waited for our food we watched people come in, served, and finished. We received a garlic pizza - very doughy. Asking at 6.15 where our food was we were told it would be soon - although they weren’t sure what the order was and had to look it up in the computer.

Appears they forgot the order - but they were incredibly rude about it blaming us for ordering a garlic bread - we waited another 15 minutes to watch another table who had recently arrived be served. Again no apologies despite our calmness and politeness. We gave up and walked out.

There are many other really yummy restaurants with good service in the area -so no loss. Warning to others though - especially given the rudeness of the manager.

We stopped getting this pizza delivered as it was always cold and crap, nothing to do with Altro as it was a 3rd party service. Since picking up ourselves the quality is a lot better.
Restaurant is clean and friendly staff, Gluten free base available for a little extra cost.
Also Vegan friendly.
