No one can resist. As u drive along the beginning of the Great Ocean Road you will come to a turnoff, Torquay or Anglesea. Hmmm. Of course you head on to Anglesea but just before then, you'll pass BELLS BEACH which you just HAVE to stop and look at because it was THE beach in Point Break (Keanu Reeves) and then, OMG, take the next turn off, the one to Point Addis. Follow the road all the way to the lookouts and you will never ever regret it. Take the 300m stroll down to Red Rock Beach where dogs abound, the water is blue, and so so so few people for a glorious picnic day. Utter utter bliss. Then head off to Anglesea for a pub beer or - whatever! Note: dogs are meant to be on lead, and bathroom facilities are up the top carpark and along a bit. There is also an Aboriginal walk AND walks down to Pt Addis beach. NOTE: NOT SUPERVISED AND WAVES CAN BE STRONG. BUT MY KID AND DOGS LOVED IT. JUST WATCH THEM CLOSELY NEAR THE ROCKY ENDS OF BEACH, AND WHEN TIDE COMING IN.
