Peaceful, tranquil garden setting. Very private. Room was so big, light and tastefully decorated. Judy the host is lovely and had thought of everything! Breakfast range was great. Excellent touches in furnishings, things to do to relax. A magnificent place to get away from it all! Bathroom was excellent. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean. Great value for everything you get for the price. I look forward to returning and wish I could have stayed longer.
a little bit out of town (no Problem with a car), but very quiet & peaceful in a garden setting, with enclosed yard for guests, great bathroom and shower, heater well working, all ingredients provided for a good breakfast (self Service): we enjoyed it very much
I stayed at the Torquay Toongahra BNB for two nights recently and the hospitality and facilities where top notch. Although my stay was all too brief i did have a thoroughly relaxing and restful stay.

I stayed here for two nights in January 18. Judy was most welcoming, the room was ideal and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. The property is 5 mins drive from The Esplanade so a car is recommended, but the quiet location, along with "your own" courtyard are excellent features of this property, making it a superb base from which to begin/conclude your trip along the GOR.Thoroughly recommended.
We stayed for two nights over a long weekend. It was a cosy place with all that we could want. There is a large clean bathroom and the kitchenette was perfect for the breakfast provided. Judy was friendly and welcoming and knowledgable about the area. It is a perfect stay for 2 people.
