“ Tuna Fishing ”
Reviewed 13 June 2016 via mobile

Group of 9 headed out on a full day tuna trip, Barry and his crew were great, obviously know what they're doing and we were well looked after. Wasn't too long before we hit the yellow-fin and the fun began and lasted for hours.
The boat is really wide and spacious, which was good in the rough sea. The skipper made the boat himself, all 18 metres of it...

“Southern Coast Charters, The great fishing charter!”
Reviewed 29 April 2016

my husband recently joined a group for a five hour reef fishing trip with Southern Coast Charters. He arrived at the wharf for a 7am start , we were warmly welcomed by Captain Barry and his crew. After a brief talk on safety procedures we were on our way. We saw a lot of bird and dolphin activity in the water, so then the crew moved fast and we had the game. Rods and lures out in the water, after half an hour without success we then moved onto our reef destination. Then the parachute was deployed and the drift began, almost immediately catching barracouta, flathead, and snapper nannygai and mackerel. we had the use of top gear and bait. Tea and coffee and light snack was available. Barry and his crew looked after all
Our needs in very way, with a good deal of friendly banter thrown in. on arrival back at the wharf 6 hours later, the fish were scaled and filleted for those who wanted it. So overall a great charter, that I recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable day out on the water.
