We stayed in a Family Room which was a good size, facing the road. Quite noisy until later in the evening when traffic settled down. We had a good sleep.
Shower was enclosed by a curtain only, so water went everywhere ALL OVER the floor - what a mess after 4 showers. They provided 2 bathmats but both ended up soaked and the bathroom then was too slippery to use.
Still had a VCR ! For $270 a night I did expect something a whole lot better.
Parking was right out the front of the unit which was handy.
There seemed to be better located motels on the main drag and I tend to think if Port Campbell is charging that much (more than we paid in Melbourne!) then you're better off in town.
Weren't told anything about their breakfast options, but when checking out (had to leave the key- nobody around at 10am) saw they offered a continental breakfast for a charge. With no knowledge of this, unfortunately we pfaffed around trying to feed the family quickly in town before hitting the road. It's these little details that make a huge difference to travellers.

We stayed one night on our great ocean road trip between Christmas and new year. Our welcome could not have been friendlier and Jose gave us tips on places to eat and visit. The room was very comfortable and clean and had a small kitchenette with kettle and microwave. Very handy to make a cup of tea! The bathroom was a decent size. We also had a little private patio which we didn't expect. It is in a great location just 5 minutes from the centre and very quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. If ever in this part of the world again would not hesitate to stay here again.

Friendly hosts, clean spacious rooms, comfortable bed.
Continental breakfast available if required, think there was a big selection of DVDs for bad weather days ( escape from Aussie TV) and unlike so many rural motels in Australia ( only in Australia & NZ ) they have 10.30 checkout and not the 10.00am eviction!
Good value too

We stayed here on the last night of our Auswalk Great Ocean Walk Highlights self-guide walk – five days, four nights, three days walking (see separate review).

This motel is clean and was more than adequate for our accommodation purposes at the end of our long walk. The hotel is located a very short five minute from the beach in Port Campbell.

Our room was spotless as was the compact bathroom. Our room had queen-sized bed and single bed. Our breakfast was part of our walking tour and was a simple continental arrangement that you selected and there was delivered to your room in a basket.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Could not have asked for a friendlier welcome at check in from Josie and always got acknowledgement from her whenever we saw her during our stay. Upon exiting our room we were even acknowledged by the cleaners servicing adjacent units. The motel is situated a 5 min walk from Port Campbell centre. We had room 7 during our stay which was of a good size, spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. Room has a small corner outside space overlooking the police station so no security worries!!!
When we checked in we were told that there was a problem with the fridge and her husband had gone off earlier in the day to pick up a new one. Sure enough the first evening whilst we were out the fridge was replaced. Nicely maintained rooms could not fault a thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Port Campbell.
