Can’t thank the owners enough. Totally professional people and extremely friendly. The hotel it’s self was a pleasure to stay in. Clean and tidy rooms, 5 star in my books. If you ever staying in Morwell do yourself a favour and stop here. You won’t be disappointed. Well done :) Will definitely stay there again.
I was in Morwell for the Recent AFL Victoria V/Line Cup that was been layer in the region.
Searching for a place to stay for one night in the middle of the carnival was almost impossible. Coal Valley Motor in had a room available.
walked in and was immediately welcomed in by the owner and shown to room.
Across the road from the train satin and only a short drive to the Freeway to Melbourne or East Gippsland. Good spot. the CBD of Morwell is on other side of railway.
Room was spacious, very clean. It/s a two level establishment. I was fortunate enough to have got a ground floor.
Nice Motel
Have stay a couple of times. Very pleasant stay both times. Magnificent big bed, very clean & tidy. Awesome people that go out of there way so that your stay is a pleasant one.

Best place to start is at the beginning Reception :- Rosemary is the most loveliest receptionist you will ever meet I arrived early and she bent over back wards to get me a room before normal check in time All the cheaper rooms were booked so I was up graded to the Corporate suite Upon entering the room is was a wow factor There was plenty of room to unpack and put your luggage away There was a King and single bed in the room along with a small table and chairs and couch One item I have never seen in a county motel before was the coffee machine with pods ! They had proper milk !!! The bathroom is BIG The shower had plenty of hot water You had a choice of standing under the shower or take the hose and shower with that I loved the idea that you were given a choice Comes in handy when you have little ones that do not like the water falling on their heads There is plenty of room to place your toiletries on the bench The toiletry products that they use are high standard There are the normal tea coffee etc though I would of liked to have seen a couple de cafe coffee satchels and raw sugar options but they can not cater for every one The bed was superb and the main pillows BIG The room has the normal reverse cycle air con and electric blanket I was glad to see that they had a clock radio set on the correct time and a phone, I do not have a mobile so this came in handy I could not say that the room was clean but SPOTLESS The cleaners are a delight to talk to and take pride in their work I had ordered breakfast There was a knock at the door and there was a young man standing there with a smile on his face and the tray in his hand The breakfast was huge for me Plenty of toast with baked beans two yummy FRESH eggs grilled tomatoes and the cutest triangle hash browns I have ever seen They take pride in the presentation of the meal They do have a swimming pool but it was the wrong season so was not in use I can not sleep with out a fan and they brought one to my room I recommend this motel to every one who wants value for their money May not of been a 5 star by some people definition but the service you receive deserves more stars THANK YOU ROSEMARY and PHIL
I couldn't speak highly enough of the Coal Valley Motor Inn. The room was spacious and very very clean. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't have been more friendly, accommodating or helpful. Breakfasts were amazing. I will definately be back!
