We had a lovely 7 night stay in a beachfront apartment. The view was beautiful, from gorgeous sunrises to turquoise water throughout the day and a big verandah to enjoy it all. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. There is a patrolled swimming beach right across the road which the kids loved. The apartment was a great base for day trips. We love the serenity of Trinity beach and with cafés and supermarket in walking distance, our holiday was relaxing. Alan and Judy were very friendly and helpful hosts. We're looking forward to coming back again.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment ( no. 8 ) in the block right on the beach ( on the website, these apartments are called 'beachfront' ) and were supremely happy with everything. The views were simply fantastic with both the living room and the master bedroom / its bathroom providing a 120 degree sea-view. The apartment was really spacious - the balcony was large enough to accommodate a jacuzzi, a six-seater dining table and a couple of deck chairs! The kitchen was also great and the fixtures and fittings and the furniture were also quite new.
It is one of the lesser known properties ( doesn't show up on all searches ) and for some reason has no recent reviews and hence has a low ranking. This was in fact a worry for us but, as it turned out, was quite unfounded.

Room tip: If you are partial to sea-views, stay in the beachfront apartments.

We stay for 5 nights and it wasn't long enough in this beautiful place and apartment. Well equipped and well located, we wanted for nothing. Room also came with a garaged parking spot. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Meridien immencely. It had everything we wanted from a beachfront apartment: very modern, very roomy,a private way to the beach (via patio), nice people managing it. The beach was excellent...

Cannot find any flaws there!

Room tip: I liked very much my room - 1st floor, beach front (was it 102?). It has a private way to the beach (via the patio).

My wife, son and grand-daughter stayed here in a three bedroom apartment directly facing the esplanade and beach. We couldn't have chosen a better location. The attention provided by on-site manager Alan was first class. As for our apartment - it was huge and well appointed. The master bedroom had a bathroom with a shower and spa bath overlooking the beach. The fully equipped kitchen was much better than most I've experienced - with excellent appliances and high quality cooking utensils and plates. There was a small solar-heated pool (which we didn't try) and right by an excellent BBQ area with top notch equipment and everything in a sparkling clean state. There is only one thing that I'd criticise. Internet is not free and the charge ($25 for 40 hours) strangely accommodates just one computer - so a multi family group in a three bedroom apartment might need to purchase several cards. In the year 2014 internet should be, like television, radio and telephones an item that is built into the daily rate. The rates at Meridien, by the way, were quite reasonable. The family enjoyed Trinity Beach for its beach and also for the relative lack of noise - quite unlike the street and honky-tonk feel of, say, Palm Cover's esplanade. Definitely a place to which we'll return!

Room tip: Choose a room on levels 2 or 3 and the rooms in the front block have the best views over the beach.
