Cool and quiet information centre. Very informative Aboriginal history (so sad) of the region, authentic paintings and artefacts for sale, coffee, snacks and drinks. Very knowledgeable staff.

A few good stories of local people but not much more of interest to me. Guided tours are available and would be great for tourists and locals that want to know more. I already new a lot about the coasts original owners. Has some nice aboriginal art and gift shop. Has a little cafe. Not much parking so did the Na.t park walk from Burleigh and walked around to it.

Thank Lyn S

This was a lovely walk in the Burleigh Heads NP with a young Aboriginal women and opportunity to learn some of the Dreamtime stories of the local clans who roamed the area before Europeans arrived in Australia.

The journey began with a short film which was well put together with interesting insights into the Aboriginal history of the area.

We then set out on the walk which was fairly easy and there were some beautiful views of Tallebudgera Creek, the Ocean and the NP. We stopped at points of interest and to hear the various stories.

Well worth the $20 price tag and I'd recommend if you are at all interested in hearing about the history of the traditional owners

Stopped in at Jellurgal for a latte and a business meeting. Moments of kids in excitement as they made their way into the attached room for an education in local Aboriginal culture. A chance to hear the local dancers engage with a group of people as they enjoyed a cultural experience. Surrounded by some beautiful art and unique cultural gifts.
