Have returned here over several years, and will go back again. Room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Fully booked but not over crowded. Facilliteis are well maintained.

The room at the far end (west) of the building gid not have much of a view.
Ask if we could have a room overlooking pool and were told there were none available.
However from the lack of lights in those rooms at night and absence of people on the balcony it was obvious that at least 10 were not occupied.
Found the reception's attitude was 'take it or leave it"
Maybe it was because we had Impact Holiday Vouchers ?

The resort is very clean, modern. the apartment's are nice. If you just want to chill out this is the place, if you have children 1 to 10 age group great place the pool has a beach built in. There are rules in the pool area, which are good for everybody. Some parents abide by them some don't.

Room tip: If only you and your love one ask for the rooms at the front that over look the river. These are away from the pool area.

Started on Sunday when we arrived at our apartment to discover that both our air cons were in a not working order. Rung Christina (who works for perfect short breaks) to help fix this problem. We were told that they knew the airconditions have both been out of order since Thursday prior to us arriving on Sunday. They offered us a fan which was also out of order. We were told they could provide us with another fan, how ever it is 38 degrees and all a fan does and blows hot air around. After spending our first night here in the heat we rung back and told there is nothing they can do to help us. STAY AWAY

Hi Casey A

Thanks for your feed back which always helps the accommodation provider improve their service.

We would like to clarify "The Boathouse Resort Tea Gardens waterfront" is not operated by "perfect short breaks". In fact "perfect short breaks" has nothing to do with "The boathouse Resort Tea Gardens waterfront". Instead, they are operating 'The Boathouse luxury apartments''
.
I believe for whoever the accommodation provider is, the customer's feedback is always appreciated and is taken into account to improve the service provided.

You're most welcome to stay at "The Boathouse Resort Tea Gardens Waterfront" as our valuable customer.

Best regards

Booked this hotel after staying here many years ago and loved the location. Something must've changed since last time I stayed, room 307 was filthy when we walked in.
French fries left on the carpet, an old dummy under the bed, chip wrappers and a wine bottle under the lounges, microwave was something from a horror scene, rust on the bathroom windows, fishy odour when you first walk in and crumbs next to bed.

So we decided to go out for the afternoon to explore the beautiful area and not let the room get us down, then we discovered that reception closes at 5pm, kids had clearly walked through reception wet from the pool. This left a lot of water on a shiny tiled floor, which created a potential dangerous hazard. No reception to clean it up and keep it safe after 5pm. No warning signs in place when we came back, my husband almost feel over holding our 7week old daughter....Not impressed!!!

After paying $260 my minimum expectation is a clean and tidy room and a safe environment. Management clearly have a list of rules and regulations that they want you to adhere too with cleaning up after yourself (please see attached photo) so I thought I would write afew of my own.

1. Clean the room (at least at the decency to vacuum the floors for new guests)
2. Pay attention to health and safety
3. Don't threaten to fine people $100 for not taking out a bin, surely your house keeper is more than of capable of emptying a bin considering the price and the fact I'm on holiday to relax.

Very disappointing trip away, I will not be staying here again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
