An extremely well managed motel in a lovely location, easy stroll into the little township. Excellent communication from Jodi, the manager, especially we were travelling in the peak of the bushfire time recently. The room provided was well proportioned with kitchenette facilities and good bathroom. All areas were immaculately clean and well kept. Loved the Eco bin in the bathroom. Jodi had cleaned the pool of fire ashes early in the morning, and it was absolutely sparkling clean. Housekeeping ladies very friendly in the morning. This motel is a real standout for how well it is run, thank you Jodi for your effective communication style and presence.

We were travelling from Sydney to Brisbane but had a three hour delay at a standstill on the highway due to bushfires. By the time we were able to drive on, all the accommodation nearby was closed or fully booked. Our young boys were excited at the prospect of ‘camping’ in the car but with bushfires nearby my husband and I were not! At 10pm, I rang the Rockpool Motor Inn and Jodie, the manager, was kind enough to wait almost an hour for us to arrive, open reception and she gave us a lovely family room for a great rate. She could not have been more friendly or helpful which was so nice after a long and stressful day. The room was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and even had a kitchenette. We’d love to visit again in better circumstances. Thanks again, Jodie - you are our hero!
