Nice to get recommendations of where to eat, rooms spacious and clean, price very amenable. Lots of parking, easy access to the Motel as soon as you drive into town. Comfortable beds and great water pressure for the shower

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Was fortunate to have a room at the back so it was quiet.
However, maintenance is lacking. The tap in the basin was leaking, the shower screen glass was cracked, the security lock on the door was broken, as was the sliding door lock. Not good for $135 plus credit card charges.
I went to reception and asked for some milk and was told it would be delivered to me. It wasn’t.
I chose this motel because it had a restaurant but it was tied up with miners. They suggested getting takeaway which was fine, but I had no utensils or plates.

Stayed in Muswellbrook for five nights, good location and rooms were quite and clean. Only basic amenities and beds were fine no issues. Located right next door to McDonalds and around the corner from shopping centre.

This is certainly an older country motel and being a country boy who has lived in the city for quite some years, I find it a little difficult to evaluate.
The country quirks are great but it is not the modern city type of room or service.
Having said that, the staff are friendly, the room was large (double and two single beds) and the sleep was like a babies so no complaints there.
The amenities are basic (International Roast coffee is a tad poor) but the shower did have instant hot water.
Probably best summarised as basic, comfy and friendly... but I could stay again.

Nice setup, lots of engineers staying here and the service was good. My room is older but the bed is comfy and the air conditioning kept me warm.
Other guests up early and I hear their trucks leaving - so good if you like a 5am wake up!

This is the worst hotel in Australia, it needs to be closed down with immediate effect! The owners clearly have no idea. The fridge never worked, I actually walked out within the night......Disgusting!
