This has been our favourite motel room on this trip so far!
The owners were friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom felt large, spacious and well appointed.
Lounge and bed were very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything you needed for a night or two, with bowls, plates, cutlery, and all the other usuals.
The bathroom and toilet had more space then your normal motels. And there was great little extras that went the extra mile! Like hygiene bags, a spare dental kit, shaving kit and even a little shoe shine kit.
The room had a in-ceiling air-con and a ceiling fan!
Everything was very clean. Rooms fairly sound proof. Really enjoyed our night here. Thank you!

Booked for a single night weekend stay. Upon arrival reception staff were friendly but advised that they had encountered a problem during the day, likely as the result of a storm in the area, which meant that the TV's weren't working. They further advised that they had been unable to contact a repair service to come and have a look at the problem. I understand that we aren't talking about a major city here and I accept there would be difficulty getting service calls on weekends, but it was very annoying.

In the room they tried to re-tune our TV and did manage to get a patchy signal from the ABC and SBS so we had some programming to view but it was largely unwatchable.

This facility has clearly been around for a while but the room, while modestly sized, was spotless and the fixtures well laid out and functional. The bed was very comfortable and the tariff reasonable.

After sunset we were disturbed by a group of teen aged children, presumably the kids of other guests, who were very loud and decided it would be a good idea to kick a football around in the car park outside our room - but they responded to my request and moved on.

All in all it was a mixed experience for us. Had we arrived on a day when the TVs were working and the other guests kids were better behaved it would have been a different rating.

On the outskirts of MuswellBrook this is a very good motel. Friendly and helpful staff who made our stay. The rooms in our unit were large and they have come different configurations for family’s. Our unit was three bedroom, well equipped and very comfortable.
