As Cottage Leura Lady does not have WiFi, I was in search of a place to have breakfast and. At home up on my emails, Messenger etc. I went there daily and had mostly muesli which is a good meal, it has Kiwi fruit Joghurt, honey and a jug of milk and it filled me up that I hardly ever managed to eat lunch. I also had French toast on a couple of occasions. The left hand side gets booked up by coaches. The right side has a good view of the road, there are little tables for 2 and the place is clean and bright and I believe they open at 6.30 and close just after lunch, one can see them cleaning the place until it gleams. I know the boss and his son are working there and I would be surprised if it did not have a few more family members, they are very friendly and have a lot of regular locals in the morning for a cup of coffee. I met a very friendly lady there she was widowed last year and her and her husband used to owe one of the high class restaurants of the area she now works part time round the corner selling, scarves, children/ladies wear and costume jewellery to have something to do. She was most helpful to me. They also have set breakfasts quite a good menu. I sat every morning on my regular table Nd spent up to two hours there chatting with people and catching up on my emails

We only ate here as it was part of AAT Kings Blue Mountains Bus Tour.
We were herded into a very crowded area that was noisy and chaotic. Even though we had pre-ordered our meals it took a while to get the meals out and several people were then told their chosen meal was already served to someone else. some meals were cold and even when they were redone they were still cold.
We were told to grab a soft drink on the way in but not told we could not be able to get a coffee later unless we paid extra.
The quality of the meals were average to very poor and the whole dining experience was well below par.
The lunch was part of a package and had we known we would have chosen the bakery instead,

We visited Easter Sunday. We were sold instant coffee as espresso as takeaway and charged a high price plus surcharge for the public holiday. Also we got lasagne and schnitzels. These were heated frozen food and poor quality at that. Also our clothes smelt of the stale fat of the chip cooking after being in there for a short time. Such poor food in a lovely place. I suppose they don’t care about repeat visits. Awful and taking advantage of visitors

Avoid this place at all costs. The guy running it is the rudest guy you will ever meet. He is only interested in serving the busloads of overseas tourists. Please do NOT go here if you value you trip to the Blue Mountains.
A disgrace.
