The last time we have been to the Blue Mountains was 20 years ago so we were looking forward to it. The three rides were short but really exciting. There were a lot of tourist groups who were noisy but it added to the thrill.the walking treks were nice and really well maintained. We thought the price for the rides was quite reasonable and the weather was so good that the views were breathtaking. What a nice day!

The view was fabulous! we didn't take any tour and we didn't go to the wildlife, we drove there. We started with a walk at the botanical garden (yes they have it in blue mountain too) then we went sight seeing at the blue mountain, the view was amazing, the weather was good. Then we decided to go to the scenic world there to try out the railway. We decided to walk down the mountain then take the train up, it was disappointing, we took almost an hour walking down and yet the train up lasted less than a minute and going up we face the opposite direction. My suggestion if you want to take the railway take both ways, but it's quite expensive and only lasted for a moment

Thanks for your review. A great value ticket option at Scenic World is our Unlimited Discovery Pass, this will enable you to experience our rides as many times as you wish on the day of purchase and allows for an awesome experience. I hope you are able to spend a little longer here on your next visit!

Recently we took some overseas relatives to the Blue Mountains for some sight seeing. We spent a few hours at Scenic World, where we went on all three of the rides. The floor of the skyride is great the way it goes from opaque to transparent, as soon as the car leaves the base. The views are magnificent, and on each of the rides there was a guide giving a brief talk about the various things we were seeing, Including the waterfall from different angles. The railway seems much more scary now, than it did when I went as a child.

We had lunch there as well, which was quite adequate and quite pleasant with views across the valley. It is a pity that the restaurant no longer turns!

We were even able to fit in a tour of a cave at Jenolan in the same day.

Great views from the skyway and railway. The boardwalks are fantastic and make you feel like you're in the middle of the bush.

Realise the Scenic Railway has recently been upgraded but the 'cafe' experience was below par. The view was spectacular but the chairs and tables were grotty and coffee was served as a take away. Wouldn't bother hanging around for coffee again. I think they cater more for tourist buses not locals. The area around the cable car (far side) was in need of a bit of a tidy up. A bit disappointing really.

We apologise if you did not find the cafe up to your expectations. It is good to know that you enjoyed the spectacular view and I hope you found the new railway to be an exciting experience.
