My wife and i are regulars here. Been here on many occasions, i don't bother trying other motels this one has it all great food/service close to many walking tracks (if thats your thing) also free WIFI. Cannot fault the place, service is second to none. Very clean and tidy.Get to know Margaret at front desk, great person very helpful

Stayed at this motel only one night with family, and I think that was enough. The rooms need updating because the carpets seemed so filthy and brown. The bathroom was very old and in dire need of updating. For the price you pay, it is not bad. A simple room, would probably be better if they cleaned the duvets and changed the carpets. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable!

I stayed here and wasnt impressed. not only did they get the room wrong,we booked a twin, got a double. it dosent meet the webpage description. Rooms are small. and simple. but the hosts are very friendly

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the reception area.

Other reviewers are correct that the staff is very friendly and helpful. The motel room was clean and neat although they should probably use a little less bleach when cleaning - had to air out the room - but at least you knew the bathroom was clean! there is a fridge with coffee milk and a hot pot. the local tour trolley stops in back and the walk to Echo Point and the Three Sisters is quite doable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. We ate dinner there one night and I enjoyed the lamb pie and they make good soup. You should take the taxi to/from the train station as it is a very long walk up and down hills between the town and the motel. The Katoomba train station is charming and if you leave in the morning you will likely see kangaroos in a meadow as you head into Sydney.
