We had a a delightful stay in Katoomba Manor.

It’s obvious the hosts - John and Sipha - paid attention to the tiniest details. From heated bathroom tiles to the most charming decor, fresh flowers and personalized breakfasts, everything is wonderful.

Our room is beautiful decorated. Breakfast - served in the refined dining room - is so delicious and fresh. I love the pretty teapots that tea is served in.

I’m glad we chose to stay here instead of a mass-oriented hotel.

Thank you, John and Sipha!

Hi Dawn, Thank you for the wonderful review, Great couple who have traveled from Singapore, must be quite a shock to arrive in cold conditions , luckily here at Katoomba Manor we keep you warm when cold outside . In fact this morning its snowing lightly.
Best regards John and Sipha

We stayed here on 22 and 23 June. It was our first stay in a B&B and it was not what we expected. It was better. John and Sipha welcomed us into their home and straight away we felt so comfortable. Beautiful people, beautiful home, so friendly. A beautifully cooked breakfast every morning, with the choices of fruit, yogurts, toast, croissants tea coffee or hot chocolate, and orange juice. There is a movie room for you to watch movies, and cakes and biscuits whenever you feel a need for something sweet. The furnishings in this home just adds to the relaxing ambience and I am sure we will be back again in the future. Don’t drive past this one. A little gem in Katoomba.

Thanks Guys for the beautiful review, Its nice to see so many people trying B&B's . look at the reviews! You can't please everyone but here at Katoomba Manor we try. With nearly 50 yrs in hospitality experience between Sipha and I at great hotels certainly helps.

We stayed for 3 nights and from the welcome to the goodbye John and Sipha could not have done more to make us welcome. It's well located to walk into town to get transport to the Blue Mountains and only a short ride from the train station if you have luggage.
The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and well equipped, plus there was always cake in the lounge and free bottled water in a well stocked fridge. These little touches, along with linen napkins at breakfast and chocolates in your room lift this from a standard B&B. The breakfast is a highlight. A beautifully set table, fresh fruits, croissants and a cooked breakfast prepared to order sets you up for the day, I recommend the omelette.
We also took advantage of the mini cinema (as we had bad weather for a couple of days). John has a great movie selection and the ability to help yourself to wine (which you pay a nominal amount for) whilst you watch a movie was a nice and unexpected extra. Great base for a visit to the Blue Mountains.

Old fashioned luxury French theme host very hospitable. Some stairs but chair lift. Make your own coffee, cakes biscuits and fruit supplied.
Small theatre available.Beds too comfortable antique furniture. Marble tiled bathroom over the top luxury. Only 3 rooms, probably not suited for family trip.

Fantastic review Garry, thank you for going to the trouble to write this ,it is much appreciated.
Garry and Sandra came for the weekend to attend the UKULELE Festival held in Katoomba, Katoomba has many music festivals and staying at Katoomba Manor is a great place to stay only 10 minutes walk to city center and no parking problems.
Cheers and Thank you once again

We decided to spend the day in the Blue Mountains and stayed at the Katoomba Manor, a nice B&B on the Great Western Highway. As one would hope, the place was spotlessly clean and the hosts made us feel at home. With complete candor, John assisted us in identifying the best sights to see and the best restaurants in the area.

I wouldn't consider the Katoomba as cheap, but highly recommended.

Thanks Mark, A great review. Mark is a well traveled American now living in Singapore, Mark loved fine food, and visited many of Katoomba's best restaurants .his perception of Katoomba's costs may be clouded by this factor.
