The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Coogee close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the many bus routes in/out of Coogee.
The room was very spacious and well equipped. Thoroughly recommend.

I think the quality is about right for the money. We had a studio and it was great for travelling with a young child. The location is excellent and the staff are great. The cafe Morning Glory around the corner was brilliant.
Night 11 of our 12 night stay before a week in hunter valley for our son’s wedding. Cannot fault the welcome and hospitality of the staff, who have made our stay here special. Short taxi ride to Bondi junction for train links into the city and 2 minutes from the beach.!Coogee is a very vibrant place with bars, shops and restaurants very close by. It is very popular with the younger community (18-30’s), but is a pleasure seeing the younger generation enjoy themselves with out a hint of trouble whatsoever. What a great advertisement for Australia and Coogee. Stayed in Room 319 , balcony with sea view, cleaned daily and king size bed for a great nights sleep. Would thoroughly recommend Coogee sands to anyone at any age group. Special mention to the reception staff - thank you.
What a lovely hotel! The staff were friendly, rooms clean and good size, LOVED the courtyard room, great touch so the little people could have some outdoor time. Good price compared to others around and complimentary parking was an added bonus. So close to the beach, and an abundance of cafes and restaurants, yet was super quiet in the room. Walking distance to everything. Would definitely recommend, we will be back.
While we didn't have a view from our room, the Coogee Sands is right on the doorstep of the beach, and perfectly located for fast access to the beach and restaurants. I was sharing with a friend, so we were able to request King bed into 2 singles (King Deluxe Room). Only downside was the bathroom didn't have a window and fan wasn't able to be turned on separately. But apart from that, perfect location and lovely staff.
Fab location, excellent reception staff, comfortable bedding, beachfront, beautiful!!! We headed to Coogee heading home from Oberon after a funeral. Decided ti head into the city and thought we’d go to check out Coogee beach on a beautiful day. It was amazing! Buzzing with people, Beach was so beautiful. The location of Coogee Sands was literally right on the beach front. Surrounded by shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, convenience stores, parks, eateries, it is close to everything. We were so impressed that we will definitely be back again
