Clean, comfortable room. Very pleasant and helpful Reception staff. Good fridge, microwave, crockery,cutlery etc available. Laundry on site. Nice big opening window for fresh air. Quiet, in spite of being right next door to Coogee Pavillion. Above all, a great location,right beside the beach, the beautiful coastal walk, shops and bus stops. More

Fantastic location. Great staff and service. Parking provided was a real plus. Staff provided really comprehensive information about local restaurants, food options and activities. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the beds were wonderful. The sounds of the ocean were great to hear in a city. There was lots to see and do around Coogee.

A nice hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are basic, but good enough. Staff was kind. Room wasn’t ready by 2pm (checking in time), so we had to wait (we weren’t the only guests waiting). pretty good value.

The Coogee Sands is good value for money. Clean well maintained rooms. Fantastic location. I wouldnt pay extra again for a courtyard space as it was pretty awful. The roof top terrace is a great space.
Great location for a weekend getaway. Plenty of choices for eateries. Faciliites quite good but bathroom fixtures in need of attention. Front of house staff were very attentive, professional and helpful. Free onsite parking is a bonus.

Great location, lovely helpful staff but terrible cockroach problem. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed but came alive in all the wrong ways after dark. Cockroaches were everywhere! Unfortunately, we could not be moved to another room so we were offered a can of bug spray and the room was surface sprayed. The manager acknowledged the cockroach problem but mistakenly believes that they fly in from the veranda. Sadly, the smell from under the kitchen sink and in the cupboards as well as the many baby roaches running about shows where they are really coming from. The staff were lovely but in the end we had to stay in our cockroach infested room and were not offered any discount or a different room (fully booked when we stayed). I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
