This place is all about the location hence parking is a hassle. No free parking around the area, will have to park just 10 mins away in a residential area (Park avenue). Very friendly staff, clean room (shared balcony) and self cook kitchen available too.
Overall good place to stay for the night. Can get loud with all the partying around, so they provide earplugs ;-)
Note: Wifi available on 1st and GF only and from 8 am to 8 pm.

Christian is a top bloke! He was so knowledgeable and helpful. Chris' patience was tested when four silly aussie girls booked the wrong mountain to ski on...luckily he has a sense of humor and was able to cope (and give us a refund). We then fell in love with Chris and became best mates and lived happily ever after. Would definitely recommend Nomads to anyone wanting to book activities in Queenstown - and ask for Chris (real name Christian) p.s send Chris to Australia. Lock it in Eddie!!

I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2015 with the Kiwi Experience. We had an en suite 4 bed dorm which was spacious, had a modern bathroom and a shared balcony with the room next door. It's an easy walk to the water as well as to all of the restaurants and shops. It's definitely the best nomads hostel I've stayed in. The only bad thing was that the wifi didn't work properly in our room.

Simply the best backpackers i've ever been to, staff is really awesome, room are really clean, evening free meal's not the best but still decent.

Every day got a different free activity made with all the guest who wants to participate, soccer, bar crawling... Even if the weather's bad they'll find something to do for you.

Room tip: Actually i've only been to one room, was just above the main entrance.... Absolutely nothing to say about the noise.

We stayed here for 5 nights while on the kiwi experience. It was probably one of the best hostels we stayed in - mainly because it was so sociable and because Queenstown is so great!
Although the price isn't cheap, you definitely get your moneys worth as you get free dinner and breakfast. Its not a banquet or anything because its better than nothing. All the facilities are good, I stayed in a 10 bed dorm but really it didn't feel like there were loads of people in the room and everyone that stayed was really nice and we all got along really easily. The bathrooms are always kept clean - although the cleaning hour isn't great.
Its in a really good location, right in the centre. Nomads also have a travel desk situated in the reception of the hostel that is really helpful.
