We stayed here for a night in December and found the motel to be a nice place to stay at...Its in town and a small walk to all the hotels and shops, It was a good little getaway.....The room was fairly good with the price you pay for it....Thanks from Picko

We stayed in a family room (1 double bed and 2 singles) which had not been updated in decades. The TV was relatively new but everything else in the room was very tired. Location is central within the town and reception lady was polite and efficient but overall could not recommend based on the room.

It was an adequate motel room. It was very cheap, clean and well enough appointed. It had a small old tv as did everywhere we stayed in Tasmania. There isn't a lot of choice in Queenstown. Reception staff were pleasant enough.

Queenstown is a tiny town on the west coast of tassie. I stayed at the motor lodge with a travel group. The rooms are fairly basic, but have all you need or might want (kettle, tea, toaster, tv). I’ve had a good night sleep, really appreciating the heat blanket provided on a cold and rainy day. I’ve had quite a cozy night.
The rooms have been refurbished. Only thing I really disliked was the mould on the bathroom walls. I could smell the dampness, which is never nice/healthy.
If you’re up for something a little extra this might not be it, but I f you’re happy with the basics for a night or two you’ll be fine.
Thanks!
