We booked this apart hotel through a "secret" offer. Great surprise - clean, good location, nice pool, parking free, reasonable internet prices, little kitchen, bbq, laundry facilities, friendly and helpful lady at reception.

This is an apart hotel, cleaning is not daily so keep the place in shape like if it would be your own!

If you want a decent place to stay in Airlie Beach - well this one I can recommend!

We stayed at Boathaven for the first week we stayed in Australia and found our stay at Boathaven to be the best possible welcome to the country we could hope for. Our customer service desk clerk Kelly gave us excellent advice on what to do and see and made our trip enjoyable. She was kind enough to give us a complimentary upgrade even though she didn't even realize it was actually our dream vacation, and this just made it that much dreamier. Our suite was comfortable and we had a wonderful view overlooking the ocean. Our hotel included a hot tub and swimming pool and we had a kitchen and barbeque facilities. It was just a short walk to town, but far enough away from the hubbub that it was a serene retreat.

Spa Room with Balcony overlooking Coral Sea was advertised. No view of the sea at all even if a new Resort was not being built directly in front. Room is in need of major maintenance and face lift (quite tired) Bathroom desperately needs work. Kitchen facilities/untensils very sparce. Very impersonnel atmosphere. Owners did not take the time to even introduce themselves, even though present when ckecking out. Dark, dangerous road to walk back from Airlie of a night time. Just passed according to price.

I recently stayed with my family which consisted of six adults and one child. We were given a two bedroom apartment which had a pull out sofa bed for the third couple. It wasnt very suitable as both bathrooms were in the bedrooms. We enquired at reception if there was any larger apartments available which there wasnt. The lady on reception was very helpful and gave us a small one bed apartment which was connected to our apartment free of charge!! We booked numerous trips at reception which was very easy and the lady on reception was very helpful and knowledgable about the trips.

The apartments themselves were a good size and very clean. Both bedrooms had ensuites. A travel cot was also supplied for the baby. Rooms were not serviced daily but this seems to be the norm for apartments. The kitchen had everything that was required to cook a meal and washing machine and dryer supplied. The apartment was very private and not overlooked. The balcony was quite large with a jacuzzi tub which was really lovely and well used!! There was also a swimming pool and hot tub in the complex which we also used.

The apartments are in a good location just a few minutes walk to the Airlie beach strip of shops, pubs and reataurants and the tour operators collected us from the apartments whish was great. The view is now comprimised by the construction work going on accross the road. Overall, a good place to stay for a Whitsunday trip!!

My fiance and I spent 5 nights at Boathaven Spa Resort. We took the ADVENTURE ADVENTURE ADVENTURE package and upgraded our room to the spa suite. On arrival we were greeted by the resort owner who was very friendly and helpfull. Our package included 3 full days of activities.
Day 1: Jet Ski Tour - this was great fun, lunch was provided at a restuarant on a secluded beach. Along the tour we were able to see a wild crocodile aswell as manta rays.
Day 2: Snorkling on The Great Barrier Reef - despite the rainy weather on this day and getting a bit sea sick on the way out to reef world, it was well worth it. We had a ball learning and snorkling around the great barrier reef, lunch was also provided. This tour is a must do.
Day 3: Raggamuffin Racing Yacht & lunch on Whitehaven Beach - this was a relaxing day, which was welcomed after 2 days of full on activities, lunch was provided and lots of sunbaking and swimming was done on the beautifull Whitehaven beach.
Each tour was organised by the resort aswell as transportation being at the resort driveway.
The Spa suite was beautifully presented and each night we fell asleep listening to the sound of the waterfall in the pool. Dealing directly with the owners of the resort meant there was a more personal touch while staying there, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, we both couldnt be happier with our stay at Boathaven Spa Resort and highly recommend it to anyone looking at travelling to the Whitsundays.
