Think of sitting in a comfortable dining chair with an uninterrupted view of the ocean. The sun is setting and the palm trees change from green to black in appearance while the water remains a blue/black colour from the moonlight.
Everything about the atmosphere is right! It isn't too noisy, the tables are well spaced and the lighting is dimmed.
I've eaten at Lime & Pepper several times and have never been disappointed with either the menu choices or the friendliness of the attentive front of house staff.
I'm a particular fan of the taste plates and tend to choose several when dining with others to make a tapas kind of meal. If the head chef is available it is not uncommon to see him approach customers for feedback about their meal. He is also very helpful if you're dining with someone with particular dietary requirements. He discusses those with you and then determines the persons particular likes and will create a meal for them based on that information.
My most recent visit was highlighted by a man having a surprise engagement for his girlfriend. The restaurant staff were most obliging by hiding the ring in her champagne glass prior to the pour. This is a restaurant which also lends itself to romance.
