We booked the sunset cruise for my 60th Birthday and it was Amazing! Because of the time of year we had the boat to ourselves. Greg and Ann our hosts were fantastic...Lots of information regarding the lake, dam and wildlife who inhabit the area, lots of photo opportunities of rock wallabies, birds, fish and crocs. Refreshments included hot and cold drinks and a biscuit barrel which we made full use of!. We had 2 stops for swimming and although there are 25.000 crocs in the lake it didn't deter us as we were reasured they do not consider us food. The highlight of the day was our second swim at sunset when Greg cracked open a bottle of Champagne and sent it to us on a float with nibbles. It will be a day we will remember as one of the best! A must do experience for all ages. Thanks again xx

So glad you had a wonderful 60th Val, the smiles on your faces when you docked that evening said it all.

Hopefully we see you both again in the not too distant future.

Regards,

Greg, Courtney and the Lake Argyle Cruises team.

We had the best few hours out on lake argyle with our skipper Gary. As well as lots of information about this enormous water project, we fed the rock wallabies, the Wallaroos and the fish! Thereby attracting Boris the crocodile 👀!
Fabulous company, a nice couple of swims and a champagne to accompany us back over the lake - the sun behind us and the stairway to the moon ahead of us. Blissful!

Thanks for taking the time to write a review jwatt63.

Sounds like a great afternoon on the lake with Gary.
Always makes for an even better experience when the moon times it right to pop over the ridge :)

What an unforgettable experience. We were a small group and took the smaller boat out -- it was perfect. Captain Dan was incredibly knowledgeable about the lake and wildlife, and took us cruising for crocs, pointed out local birdlife, and took us to visit the rock wallabies, wallaroos and feed some fish! We also went to some great swimming spots (including "jump rock") and had a beautiful sunset. We were lucky to have a very still lake that reflected the sky...it was magical. I'd recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Lake Argyle.

We did the sunset cruise and enjoyed it tremendously. Greg, the owner, was very informative, and highlighted all we should see especially the crocs and fish. We had ample time in the water drinking champagne and beer and eating nibblies on his floating coffee table. Nothing was rushed and a great experience
