The sunset cruise on lake argyle is just magical and food for the soul. Beautiful, informative and fun. Great to jump off the boat and enjoy a refreshing sunset swim. All the staff are lovely and the cruise was very well organised. Thanks for a fantastic and memorable experience guys!

This is a great cruise with host Greg who clearly loves his job and imparts his knowledge well. The history of the Ord and creating the Lake is most interesting. Can you believe it holds around 9 times more water than Sydney Harbour, depending on the wet season? It is vast! You’ll see rock wallabies, Wallaroos, crocs & fish. We took the plunge & had a swim in the middle. The sunset is beautiful. Well worth this cruise, great value.

Thank You Denny for taking the time to write a review.

We are as amazed as you are, every time we are out on the lake and realize in what beautiful and stunning area we live. It is great to share this wonderful piece of nature with all of you.

Sounds like you had a great day out there and enjoyed every minute.
Maybe we see you for another sunset swim one day.

Safe travels!

We did this cruise as part of the "Ord River and Lake Argyle Sunset Cruise Combo": if you only have time for one of these, do the Ord River! But the Lake Argyle part was also lovely and I'd recommend both! We saw part of this vast inland sea, quite a bit of wildlife and a beautiful sunset.
If you are going to swim at sunset (recommended!), plan ahead.
We suddenly stopped for the sunset swim: there was no time for the ladies to get changed. Several didn't swim because there was no privacy to get changed in (except the toilet, and that would have required some warning, so that there wasn't a long queue!). Nobody wants to wear lycra in this sort of heat, so I'd suggest that Lake Argyle Cruises do this better - either provide an area for the ladies to get changed in, or give 20 minutes' warning of the imminent swim.
Oh, and if you're swimming, use a noodle to make it easier (they have them on board).

Great value for money- pick up at 10 am and dropped home at 7.30pm. Greg was a great host and owner of this tour. Very knowledgeable and the entertaining and the scenery was spectacular. Highly recommend this tour.

As part of an all day tour - Kunanurra - Durack Homestead - Lake Argyle - Ord River, this was the lake cruise.
The cruise did show the extent of the lake. We saw Wallabies and fresh water crocodiles, at predictable places. The swim in the lake was enjoyable. The lunch was more than adequate in quality and amount.
What was lacking was enthusiasm. The animals were seen at the usual places. The commentary ( including jokes ) seemed tired and lacking in excitement and spontaneity.
