We have been on several river and sunset cruises in Northern Australia, and this is one of the best.
Modern boat, good commentary, great views.

The hills and escarpments around the lake are striking and natural/unspoilt. Not a huge variety of vegetation, but we saw many birds and small crocs, and we some fish and little wallabies.

Highlight: most passengers swam in the lake around sunset, having nibbles and wine/beer in the cool but very calm water! (We were assured that the many crocodiles were safe ‘freshies’, ie no danger!).

Thank you for your very kind review John H.

It is a privilege to hear that we were one of your best cruises in Northern Australia.

Lake Argyle is an extremely beautiful place to visit and being out on the lake makes for a wonderful experience.

Safe travels and we hope to see you again in the future.

We did the Best of Cruise last Sunday & wow wow wow !!! Greg & his helpers were the best. The weather was perfect, the boat glided on the water. Greg took us from one end to the other from one side to the other stopping at places to see wildlife, crocs & way up the other end of the lake where you see birdlife. The ever changing scenery is breathtaking. It isn't as deep there and dead tree tops emerge giving a totally different view of the lake. Yummy lunch is provided too.A swim at sunset (bit cool but worth it) with champagne beer & nibbles. How much better could it get!!! THE SUNSET WAS AWESOME & FULL MOON VISIBLE TOO. I could go on and on but kust say This will be a memory for us never to forget. THANK YOU GREG FOR A PERFECT DAY!

I booked a cruise called Best of lake argyle and I tell you what we went from one end to the other ,left to right and every where in between finishing off with a swim and a beautiful lake argyle sun set with a glass of champagne. The new boat is amazing with a very easy to use front swim deck the lowers into water and a ramp ladder that everyone found easy to use. Greg’s knowledge of lake argyle is the best around. Courtney in the front office and do’er of everything else was fantastic to deal with and nothing was hassle. Lots of food on board and we even had local produce water melon and rock melon for days. Tea and coffee was available and easy to make your own while the boat was travelling.
Greg pointed out lots of birds and a couple of fresh waters crocodiles.
Family friendly too
I drove my self to lake argyle but there was a bus available to book a transfer on if you didn’t have a car.
What a wonderful part of the world you live in and will definitely come again when I’m back at lake argyle

Thank you for your review Michelle W.

Lake Argyle is certainly massive!!
The best way to see the lake is definitely by water and air.
Its hard to comprehend just how big Argyle is.

All the best for your future travels!

A very enjoyable cruise on Lake Argyle. The boat was very comfortable and larger than I imagined. The your guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave a great run-down of the history and facts about the lake and the birds and animals we spotted. I would recommend this company.
