What a great tour with Matt at Lake Argyle Cruises...we did the sunset cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the fascinating narration, the rock wallabies, the euros (hill kangaroos, not the EU currency) and the freshwater crocodiles. The scenery was rugged, vast and luminous when lit by the setting sun. A cruise is the perfect way to get a sense of the enormity of this lake and the engineering feat created by the relatively tiny dam wall. For those who want a fuller day, the 'Best of Argyle' cruise is an excellent choice. Thank you for a great afternoon Matt and Creg.

Collected from accomodation in Kununurra and about 1 hour drive to Lake Argyle with driver Phil who kept us up to date with a well informed commentary on the agricultural history of the area. Stopped at the amazing (relocated) Durack Homestead Museum on the way. Transferred to a comfortable boat skippered by a knowledgable Matt who gave us a comrehensive history of the Lake and Ord River Dam and pointed out many items of interest including fresh water crocodiles, rock wallabies and many bird species. Watched the sun set over the Lake. A great experinece not to be missed.

This cruise was awesome. Lake Argyle is massive and must be seen or floated on to believe its size. Very interesting crew, entertaining commentary, great lunch and a safe swim. Saw plenty of large crocodiles and birds. Peaceful and exciting all at once.

Thank you for your review Geoff T.

Lake Argyle is definitely a hidden gem in the Kimberley's.
Most people don't realize just how big and beautiful the lake is.
Our cruises definitely show case the best of what Lake Argyle has to offer.

Hope to see you again in the future and safe travels!!
