Spent a nice relaxing arvo on the lake exploring with friends on stand up paddle boards hired from Lake Argyle Cruises. A cheap way to experience a little bit of the lake
Thank you for your review Annambrocia.
It definitely is a great way to see the lake from a different angle.
We have plenty of Stand up paddle boards, kayaks and canoes for everyone to enjoy.
Fantastic cruise on LA. The scenery and water were just beautiful and we all loved this outing. We did it as part of a camping tour in the Kimberley. It was very interesting to hear and see of the daming of the Ord River and the creation of LA and the Ord River (irrigation) scheme.
Out tour/cruise guide Matt was great. Very friendly and knowledgable . Helped us catch some fish. The swimming was just perfect at sunset and our tour camped overnight on one of the islands.
I would go back tomorrow and do it again.
I was told by friends later that the boat ride from the dam wall back down the river to Kununurra is also great.

We offer many different experiences on the lake for our customers and tour companies.
The particular trip you experienced is a great way to see Lake Argyle at different times of the day with a relaxing atmosphere.
We hope that if you are back up this way or have friends visiting the Kimberleys, you think of us for your itinerary.
Once again Greg does an informative and educational tour of the magnificent Lake Argyle. champagne with dips n biscuits whilst floating in the lake at sunset to finish. Perfect
Thank you for your review Leanne963.
Lake Argyle is definitely a magnificent lake.
If you are a local make sure to mention it when booking your next cruise!!
A enjoyable afternoon, loved the reassembled Durack Homestead. The Lake is so huge to give you an idea 20 X Sydney Harbour in area. We got to have a swim in the very warm waters. We had biscuits and afternoon tea and coffee. Fauna, flora and fish as well as crocodiles were seen. The sunset was brilliant we were served champagne and dips to finish off. Recommended.
They say that the best experiences are delivered face-to-face by an experienced and knowledgeable guide and Greg of Lake Argyle Cruises is proof of that. Thanks for a wonderful tour - your knowledge and local insights were greatly appreciated. Very laid-back, friendly tour with amazing views. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
We had a wonderful sunset cruise on board the Kimberley Durack with Tracy and Siobhan. Hard to choose the highlight - glorious scenery, up close with the wallaroos, or the beautiful sunset over glassy waters. Certainly the most fun was floating in the middle of the lake with a beer or wine and a noodle (don't ask!). All the adults on board had a great time but I reckon the kids had the best of all. Tracy and Siobhan were fantastic. One of our best days in WA.
