Fantastic cruise on LA. The scenery and water were just beautiful and we all loved this outing. We did it as part of a camping tour in the Kimberley. It was very interesting to hear and see of the daming of the Ord River and the creation of LA and the Ord River (irrigation) scheme.

Out tour/cruise guide Matt was great. Very friendly and knowledgable . Helped us catch some fish. The swimming was just perfect at sunset and our tour camped overnight on one of the islands.

I would go back tomorrow and do it again.
I was told by friends later that the boat ride from the dam wall back down the river to Kununurra is also great.

A enjoyable afternoon, loved the reassembled Durack Homestead. The Lake is so huge to give you an idea 20 X Sydney Harbour in area. We got to have a swim in the very warm waters. We had biscuits and afternoon tea and coffee. Fauna, flora and fish as well as crocodiles were seen. The sunset was brilliant we were served champagne and dips to finish off. Recommended.

We had a wonderful sunset cruise on board the Kimberley Durack with Tracy and Siobhan. Hard to choose the highlight - glorious scenery, up close with the wallaroos, or the beautiful sunset over glassy waters. Certainly the most fun was floating in the middle of the lake with a beer or wine and a noodle (don't ask!). All the adults on board had a great time but I reckon the kids had the best of all. Tracy and Siobhan were fantastic. One of our best days in WA.
