Nice place, would have appreciated being told there was a children’s birthday party at the pool before we paid to stay, there was minimal supervision which allowed these girls to scream, squeal and run as much as they liked, no consideration given. You don’t pay $40 a night to not be able to cool off on a 38 degree day.

Most welcoming of our group and careful instructions given.
Expansive premises in great location.
Close enough to town to enjoy a walk back.

Great facilities for washing and drying of one's clothes.
Good swimming pool and covered area surrounding.
Great outdoor dining area and barbecue.

Speedboat tour accessed from in front of property.

Room Tip: Far away from entrance has best views of lake.

I ate the threadfin salmon ($33) at the restaurant. The salmon was tough and did not taste fresh and I left sick afterwards. It was served on potato salad much like from the supermarket. My partner had the veggie stack ($25) which has two tiny pieces of haloumi and deep fried sweet potato shavings as a garnish which tasted like they were fried in old oil. The menu advertised these as 'sweet potato chips'.
The camping on the lake is nice and shady but do not eat at the restaurant. We understand it is remote but the price and quality were not acceptable.

Situated about 5 minutes out of town.
Pulled in late afternoon and were lucky enough to get a good room.
Walking distance to the restaurant (about 50 metres). Good food and many travelers enjoying a meal.
Free Wifi.
Clean room - quiet.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Would stay here again.

Lakeside is a safe and secure place to visit. On site parking, good alfresco dining area with large TVs
Staff always friendly and obliging. The complimentary continental breakfast is a bonus .Park is quiet and has lovely poolside greenery.I had option of paying via eftpos to eliminate the visa surcharge.

Room Tip: Open plan room with ensuite .I loved the complimentary toiletries provided.Comfortable bed and nice hot water in bathroom.
