My wife and I thought it was worth every minute! The villa provided everything. However, the bathrooms need maintenance. There was low water pressure in the showers and the toilet ran for a while after having been flushed. As a matter of safety, always wear the appropriate foot wear when using the stairs. The stairs do not have railings and I slipped. I fell pretty hard and hurt myself. Lastly, the advertisement was accurate. The home was awesome, the staff were great, and Nah Uxibal in Tulum was amazing!

“A slice of Heaven”
Reviewed 11 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

My two grown Children (22 and 26) and I stayed in the main House at Nah Uxibal.. It consists of the top two floors. We were captivated from the very first moment we opened the door and walked in to an expansive home and very large balcony on the lower floor overlooking Solimen Bay. Pleasant ocean breezes greeted us throughout the home and we were hooked from the start. 2 master suites on the lower floor, both with private balconies are on either side of a large living space, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is completely furnished with excellent cookware - anything you'd ever need to cook a meal for kings and queens.
The upstairs has a social room with pool table on one side and television sitting area on the other. Two large queen size futons grace the viewing area.
Ceiling fans abound in every room.
It is clear that the owners are interested in the experience that their renters have.
The beach on Solimen Bay is wonderful. I cannot say enough great things about Nah Uxibal.
I suppose the biggest compliment I/we can pay is that the 3 of us cannot wait for our next visit to Nah Uxibal. It is a treasure and highly recommended.
Thank you owners!!

“Sensational Holiday house on Soliman Bay”
Reviewed 17 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We (two families with 5 young children) rented the Main House at Nah Uxibal for 8 glorious nights over the Easter period. Jeanette, the owner, was very easy to deal with and provided heaps of information about the house, how to get there etc. The onsite caretakers, Javier & Victoria, were very helpful and keep the house and grounds immaculate. The house is as per the photos but even better with very comfy beds, stunning decor and a kitchen full over every gadget you need. Perfect place to base yourself to tour the region (the ruins, adventure parks & cenotes are all close by). It was perfect for us and we would love to visit again.

“Stunning Location - Highly Recommend!”
Reviewed 19 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We loved our stay at Nah Uxibal. The house was perfect for us and the other couple we were travelling with. Javier and Victoria who oversee the property were fantastic and we loved the lady who was offering massage/reiki on the beach in front of the property. We spent our days at the property swimming, kayaking and hanging around the beach with their gorgeous puppy Kayla. There were plenty of spare flippers, snorkles and sea shoes to wear in the ocean. The beach was so much prettier than the one actually in Tulum. There's heaps of cenotes nearby that you can drive to and we drove into town a couple of times for dinner. Would definitely recommend hiring a car if you stay there. We managed to organise one the night before we came from Play del Carmen as we wanted to visit Chichen Itza as a day trip. Loved that there was a massive selection of DVDs to watch in the tv room as well.

“Perfect getaway for family and friends”
Reviewed 24 July 2013 for a stay in February 2013

We stayed here with two other couples, we had the main house and a studio downstairs. Loved the house, the private beach and its simplicity. This location was perfect for secluded relaxing days on our beach, day trips into Tulum beach, grocery, cenotes. We couldn't have asked for better care takers, very attentive, friendly, kind people that went out of their way for us. A car is a must like others have said, we had no problems and having traveled extensively through Mexico and Central America I felt very welcomed and safe both in the bay as well as Tulum town, great great hidden gem! Yes, the birds are loud, there is seaweed and sometimes the wind blows strong, if these things bother you then I'm not sure this is the spot for you, stick to the mega-resorts. We also became good buddies with Mimi the dog, a perk for us but again not everybody's cup of tea...
