Here you can book your stay and stay in the lodge or cabins. Lots of wildlife lives here in the park so be aware and be safe . Bears are here to welcome you just do not end up being part of their meal . As the Bears say send more tourists to manning park the last ones were delicious. Staff here are the best and very helpful with info or what you need to help make your stay very comfy and great. A lots of facilities are here including laundry , gym stuff lounge and restaraunt and a country store .

Room Tip: If you have a large group then book the cabins

We decided to stay a couple of nights on our way to visit family in New Westminster. The Lodge is a lovely building. We were there between high seasons. It was neither ski weather of camping weather. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't get coffee cups in our room the first night so we went to the desk and picked them up. Our room wasn't made up the next day, which surprised us, so we had to go and get coffee for the second morning. The breakfast that was included with our stay was excellent and the dinner was great value. Try the mini Yorkshire Pudding appetizer, fabulous value. The lobby needed a thorough cleaning, a little dusty and dead leaves fallen around the plant. All in all a comfortable stay.

Manning Park has a very nice restaurant with both casual and upscale fare. The rooms are clean and fairly large. The pool was also clean. Canoe and kayak rentals are available. It could use a few more digital tv channels!

Room Tip: A lot of rooms have views of the parking lot!

We decided to do a family trip to Manning Park. We had 7 adults, and three kids (two of whom were babies), and we stayed in two standard cabins side by side. It was the perfect size for us. The kitchen had a nice long table so we could all gather there for dinner and the living space was nice and cozy. Sure, it wasn't modern or charming per se, but it was a cabin and it had a cabin feel to it. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and since we forgot a few groceries the little grocery store on the resort grounds had the supplies we needed (granted, we would have saved money if we had remembered the items to bring [a small tub of margarine was $5, and a box of graham crackers was $7]).

The communal fire pit and BBQ area were right across our cabins which made it such a great location for late night smores and marshmallow roasting. The BBQ area could have been better maintained, but we just ended up using the fire to roast our food anyway. There was also a giant field where we played catch and baseball (just watch out for the Columbian Ground Squirrel holes!)

The front desk has a plethora of information on trails and wildlife, and we decided to go to Lightning Lake, just a short drive away, and did a three-hour hike (with lots of stops). It was such a great way to spend with the family and get outdoors. We also went up to the Cascade Lookout Point for amazing photos and breathtaking views.

The pool at the resort was also a fun time.

While I read some disappointments about how the wi-fi didn't work well, or at all in the cabins--I thought that was the BEST part about the whole trip! We didn't buy any wi-fi and we all left our phones unattended. It was perfect. We all got to spend quality time with each other.

We used a Groupon deal for our three day, two night stay. In all honesty, while we all enjoyed our time, I don't know if I would go back and pay the full rate price. But if you're looking for a great place to get outside and be connected with the people you're with, Manning Park Resort is it!
