“A view that paints a thousand words”
Reviewed 16 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This was a lovely, peaceful place to spend a week in rural France. The house was clean and comfortable, and had a good hot shower and everything we needed for a week. As the house is on three floors there are quite a number of stairs, but we didn't really notice them after the first day, and having a toilet on the top and ground floors was very useful. The views from the terrace (and bed) were amazing and the terrace is a real sun trap for much of the day. The village is very peaceful and the one bar/restaurant also sells the basics such as bread and ham. We would have no hesitation in returning to Maison Thym. I say below that it was not easy to book the property - this gripe relates to the Trip Advisor booking system (UK card and overseas address) and not the property manager. Once I contacted Julie (the property manager) directly everything went through very smoothly.

Liked best: The views from the terrace
Liked least: No natural light on ground floor unless you opened front, stable door.

Thank you for such a lovely review (and my special mention). I'm pleased you enjoyed the house and the village. We would love you to come and stay again in the future and I would be happy to offer a return guest discount.

Clean and tidy all you need to be comfortable and rested but for 70 plus tenants the stairs get a bit tiring but we managed when you get a system going preparing meals ground floor and eating 2 floors up on patio and the bathroom next to the bedroom was a plus

Thanks for the lovely review, there are dining tables on the ground and first floor too but I agree the best one is on the top to take most advantage of the fabulous views!! Your right, having bathrooms on the ground floor and the top floor is very practical.

We have stayed many times at Los Masos over the last 25years but had been away for some time and it was decided that it was time to return.the booking for this bite was simple and smooth,we arrived and were not disappointed with it.From the moment we entered the property it was plain to see that everything was immaculate from the fittings to the pots and pans.
The view of the mountains from the terrace were spectacular and we ate every meal there, ignoring the 14 stairs between each floor carrying food etc.
The bed was comfortable and we slept well on it with the big windows open every night.
We will definitely be returning, one word of warning,in my opinion thr gite is unsuitable for young children.

“Waking up to this view each morning was priceless!”
Reviewed 1 July 2011 for a stay in June 2011

We loved our stay here and really felt like we had our own little home for a few days. This place is cute, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made cooking super easy. The area is fantastic for long walks and is close to so many great areas to visit. There's also a great yellow lab who lives on the corner and is always ready to "escort" you to the door! My only critique is that it would've been nice to have wifi available because finding a place nearby with wifi is nearly impossible!

Thank you, the nearest Wifi is in nearby Prades, where you can sit with your laptop outside several bars and watch the world go by.
