Take water and pace yourself, its strenuous to get to the ridge and a reasonable fitness level is required, although we did it with 2 and 4yr olds who were wonderful.
Allow at least 4 hours and take food and at least 2 litres of water. Rest under the shady trees and keep your eyes out for the wildlife, lizards can be basking beside you but blend in so well you hardly see. The short walk in the valley is gives a good aspect if you cannot make the longer one. It's also FREE, but leave it as you found it - pristine!
