“3 shades of beautiful blue”
Reviewed 4 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This was our second visit to the beautiful lakeside pueblo Los Romanes. We were delighted with Casa Lucia. The view from the balcony is stunning. 3 shades of blue (see photo!).
The villa was spacious, spotless and and well stocked with everything that you would need for a relaxing week away. Sitting by the pool you couldn't hear a thing. There are a good selection of local restaurants which serve excellent food.
A car is definitely needed due to the hilly location and the nearest 'big' shops are about 20 mins drive away. Although-there are a couple of small shops in the village for essentials.
We would definitely return to this location and this villa.

Liked least: Only criticism is the directions once you get to Los Romanes, the blue sign you are supposed to look out for is faded to white. There just could be more detail.

“Fantastic lake view Villa”
Reviewed 20 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

It was a very nice and well equipped villa (feels like home), it does have an amazing lake view. We had a warm welcome. the Swimming pool was the best part, clean and good size where the kids spent most of their time entertaining. This holiday was truly unforgettable.
The only small downside was to find the villa, although the instruction provided was fairly comprehensive and detailed but I had difficulty finding it initially but this probably a general problem in Spain as they don't use post code that get you closer to your destination as in the UK.
In a nutshell if you fancy walking in the wild and having a relaxing sun bath on a lake view villa then this is your best choice. thanks

“Breakfasting on the Verandah looking out and seeing the sun rise over the mountain, unforgettable..”
Reviewed 16 September 2015 for a stay in June 2014

The first time I visited this villa, we arrived late evening in the dark and could only see twinkling lights across the lake. The next morning we walked out onto the Verandah and was stunned by the view of the sun just rising over the Mount Maroma. The lake was very still and the sunrise reflected perfectly in the water. The villa itself is just like someone’s home with everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. We will certainly be booking again.
