My partner was not keen on staying here, the name of the place put him off and the website did not do it justice! Anyway, I didn't listen to him and I booked it - we were not disappointed at all! Very cute little place, right in the heart of everything. Charming surroundings and great attention to detail, even a lovely fresh flower on the towel stack. A decent price for it's location and for what you get too! I'll be back again for sure, hopefully next time for longer and I suggest others check it out too!

Room Tip: We stayed in Lodge house 3 but they all looked very good

As they say on their website, Seaport Village is definitely your "home away from Home". The Manager, Baden, as we got to know him, is a great host and provided us with lots of information on the things to do, where to eat in the area. The place has a lot of charm - colonial style - and is right in town. A minute walk to the beach, shops and pubs.
This place has as well a mascot called Paris, the cutest Jack Russell I've ever seen so far. Great for the kids to let them play with it and have a rest lol!
We had the chance to stay few nights together with Baden for some afternoon bbq and vinos on his deck.
This place makes you feel absolutely relaxed and I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to have an awesome experience.

We stayed here for four nights over summer, awesome place, the pub was right next door, which was handy, and all amenities were within 2 minutes walk. Baden our host was very helpful, showed us all the nice places to eat that were reasonably priced, the rsa was great!! We will definately be staying again, would recommend to all , from backpacker rooms to a whole 3 bedroom house. We had a unit right next the office, and enjoyed afternoon drinks with baden and the receptionist( the same one mentioned above)as well as guests from the other rooms. The deck was in the right spot as we could listen to the live music(and see it!) that was playing at the local pub.Loved the laid back atmosphere, and the lovely people, made us feel at home.

We booked well in advance of our stay and also paid $180 in advance for what was advertised as quality accommodation.. When we arrived at 2pm we found that the stage for a reggae/rock concert was set up right next to the motel. Literally. The music was already thumping. A rather disinterested woman whom we supposed to be the receptionist barely paused from her cigarette to inform us that a last minute concert had been set up and would go on till midnight. The noise was such that the motel was uninhabitable and we could not stay there and expect to have any sleep. (This was not simply a case of usual noise from an adjoining bar or restaurant.) She appeared disinterested in assisting us in any way - one might say she was quite rude. The staff at the tourist information office understood the problem, were very helpful and assisted us to find a bed and breakfast. The management of Seaport Village made no effort to contact us prior to advise us of the event so that we could have had the option of making other arrangements. They have not replied to email since. We lost $180. Appalling customer service and I do not recommend Seaport Village to anyone.
