This B&B will not disappoint. It sits atop the hillside overlooking the Tasman Bay just north of Nelson. The view is absolutely gorgeous and accommodations luxurious. The grounds are stunning and the gardens were beautiful with private access to the sauna and hot tub. The gorgeous marble bath had private views of the bay from the large glass shower and separate Jacuzzi tub. The room was large and quiet with beautiful antique furnishes in a clean contemporary décor. Service was impeccable. Kay and Joe were personable, kind and quick to offer suggestions to enhance our stay. Our visit to New Zealand was in part to take in the sights but to also get away from our busy lives and take in each other. Kay and Joe effortlessly worked as a team to provide us the most gourmet delicious home cooked meals and drinks. Kay even took the time to show me how to make her delicious blueberry pancakes with banana puree so that I could make it home for my husband later. After 3 beautiful days in this paradise, we returned refreshed, very much in love and with two new friends.

Kay and Joe are warm and generous hosts. The rooms are lovely, private and have stunning views. Our cooking class was informative and so much fun as well as delicious and breakfast was a gourmet delight designed to please personal palates and accommodating any dietary needs and preference. The common areas have beautiful and interesting art and the grounds are filled with an array of flora and fauna as well as many birds and alpacas. A wonderful experience!

The hosts were very friendly and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious. They call themselves a luxury B&B and they really are!

We certainly enjoyed our time with Kay and Joe, what wonderful hosts! They have a fantastic property with well appointed rooms, each with stunning views, and a beautiful garden guarded by friendly chickens and llamas. We especialy enjoyed the cooking class. What a treat! After learning some new tricks and methods, we had a wonderful 3 course meal and shared some great conversation. Just Go!
