Lovely little park with very helpful and friendly staff. Amenities are clean, shower is amazing and camp kitchen is great. Playground and jumping pillow for the kids, koalas in the trees above us. Grass powered sites, all other park guests are lovely and chatty.

We camped on an unpowered site for 4 nights. Camp sites are not marked, so everyone just sets up camp in the big grassy area at the back of the park. We stayed between christmas and new year, and there was one night in particular that it was a little cramped. In saying that, there was more grassy camp area further out the back, but didn't realise till later. When we arrived, the park owner let us know that Corellas (noisy birds) would come and roost in the trees at night. I ended up going to Woolies and getting some ear plugs, and had no trouble sleeping. the only real negatives I can think of with staying at this park was that it was a bit of a walk to go to the toilet , and camp kitchen. Would have been nice if these were closer to the camp area. The camp kitchen was quite handy, and had an oven with a stove, two barbeques, two microwaves , a fridge, and two big chest freezers for fisherman to store there fish. they also had a few things like cups , plates , cutlery , saucepans and pans for cooking ect. There were a few tables and chairs both inside and outside of the camp kitchen . There was a jumping pillow and playground for the kids . We also enjoyed walking around the park looking up into the trees for koalas . We ended up counting 6 koalas while we were there. The park owners were lovely and helpful, however the one thing that did concern me was the fact that there was no first aid kit at the park . There was an accident on the jumping pillow, and a first aid kit was needed, but there was not one. this park is in a great location, and close to the centre of town

We stayed for 3 nights on a powered, ensuite site. The first thing we noticed was the ensuite was not fit for human use and should be bulldozed. After a shower the water would come back up under the floor tiles and around the toilet. There was no paper holder so l made one out of string. No privacy at night as there were only net curtains on the windows. The large red, yellow bins were full and smelt like dog poo and vomit, they were finally emptied on our last day but not cleaned. We had a huge storm one night and day, bins were being blown over and tree rubbish everywhere. No one in the 3 days ever came and cleaned up. The camp kitchen looked like a mechanics workshop with greese and rubbish on tables and floor. The laundry was a mess and we had to fight our way through large bags of site washing to get to a machine. Their were signs of renovation but all in the wrong areas. The camp amenities were not clean even after they were just cleaned. Perhaps look at staying here in 12 months time.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were greeted by the friendly owner. It was a 2 bedroom cabin with ensuite. It is clean with nice furnishings. The lounge area has a large L shape modular lounge suite. Table has seating for 6 people. The kitchen has a U shape kitchen with full cooking facilities. The microwave was under the bench making it a little difficult to get to if there is more than one person in the kitchen. It had a separate toilet. The bathroom had a bath/shower with a long bench with cupboards for the bathroom. The kids’ bedroom was 4 bunk beds – quite cramped. The master bedroom had a large bed with bed side tables. The bed was very hard – I woke up with a sore back on both days. I had to do some washing so the Laundry was located at the front of the park. You have to pay either $3 ($3 x $1) for the older machine or $4 (4 x $1) for the new washing machine. The dryer is $1 per 15 mins. The owner was in the Laundry at one stage and we had a great chat. I got distracted by doing the jigsaw that was there for anyone who was in there doing their washing. The park is mainly made up of permanent accommodation at the back of the park. With the Gday Rewards program discount, we would go there again if we were in the area again.

Room tip: Need to book cabins well ahead as there is a limited number

We stayed two nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were great and very welcoming. They told us where the kids could find koalas and all about them. The kids loved the play area and because it is central I could watch them from our front deck. The shower was great (even after five of us went through). The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The only very minor thing is we forgot to pack extra blankets and coming from a very warm climate, we did get a little cold. The electric blankets came in very handy. We look forward to our next visit here.

We occupied a powered site in our own caravan. You may get the impression that this park is not as well coiffed as some but everything we needed was present and worked well. The manager had thought about where to place our van. The weather had been very wet and the grassed sites were muddy so she placed us on a concrete pad reserved for en suites. The ablutions looked new and the hot water in the showers was copious and steaming hot. The WiFi was excellent. An added bonus were the resident koalas who kept us amused with their antics.
