The 7 of us (2 families with teenagers and a 10 year old) booked a surf course for 3 days and had the best time. It was really good to have 3 consecutive days as we could really improve from total newbies to regularly standing and turning at the end. Matt and his assistants Blake and Kate made the course so much fun and always found encouraging words to keep us going. Endless tips really helped and especially the way the kids were looked after made this course a special event. Thank you so much Matt for your energy and enthusiasm and making wonderful memories including party waves and tandem surfing. Shakas!

I'm a 53 year old male with no surfing background.
I've had two lessons with MR surf school and thoroughly enjoyed both. Matts obvious passion and knowledge made it a fun and rewarding 2 hrs in the surf, where I managed to stand up a few times.
I would definitely feel confident having a go at surfing by myself now in the right conditions.

Our kids really enjoyed both the instruction and wave catching of their surfing lesson at Redgate Beach even though the surf was big. The instructors obvious passion for surfing and supportive nature were important in giving our kids the confidence to get into it. The lesson was the highlight of our kids visit to the Margaret River area.
