All round comfort and relaxation

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 8 Apr 2017
My husband and I have just returned home after 5 wonderful nights at Rosewood Guesthouse. The welcome was warm without being intrusive and hosts Jane and Keith were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their region. The breakfasts (whether cooked or not) were a very tasty and substantial start to the day, as well as providing a lovely opportunaity to chat to other guests from around the globe.

I am one of a group ( 12 or 14), who have stayed at Rosewood for meny years for the Leeuwin Concerts. We have watched Jane and Keith develop the guest house into a totally excellent, relaxing, satisfying experience. They have improved the cottage out of the realms of excellent to beyond, in the time they have had it. We have stayed at Rosewood for 27years of concerts and all of the Purdy's tenure. It is always clean and tidy and we are made to feel very welcome ,part of the family and nothing is to much for them to make our stay enjoyable. The food is always well prepared and served with a smile and a joke. WE always look forward to coming back and thank them for their efforts to all guests.

Room tip: THey are all good , quite and comfortable but more for couples than families

My husband & I had a 3 night stay at this lovely & inviting B & B. Our room was cosy, warm & super comfortable. From the moment we walked into this house we were given a warm welcome from our hosts Keith & Jane. The lounge area was welcoming & warm. Comfortable lounge seating with TV, Foxtel, complimentary port & homemade cookies. Breakfast was amazing with everything home made. We came back after our first day sight seeing to our washing been attended too & folded on our bed for a nominal fee. We will definitely come back & highly recommended this gorgeous B & B which is just a short stroll from the Main Street of Margaret River.

Hi Juliepatricia329
It was fabulous to meet you both and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Lovely to know that our extra services are appreciated, life is too short for laundry on holidays! We would love to see you again and continue our chatting.

Very nice B+B. Hosts make you very welcome and are all to happy to pass on their knowledge of the area and the best attractions to visit. Breakfasts were very good with a standard cooked selection (eggs/bacon) in addition to a range of muslie/toast/yoghurt/fruits. Every morning there is also a special. We had home made banana bread and stewed apple. Other morning was a mushroom omelette. They also had complimentary Tawny and Apera there for you to try each night in the dining room.
Location was a brisk 10min walk from the main street. My only gripe would be the room we were staying in (facing the road) was a little noisy up with the odd passing car until about 11pm.

Hi Erskinebrendan
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Rosewood and that our breakfast choices tempted you! The guest lounge is a great place to enjoy a complimentary nightcap. I think you may have had a little more traffic than usual as there was a speedway event on in town...last race finishes at 10pm. We are glad we double glazed the windows! Hope you have some great photos to remember your vidit.

This accommodation is all about Jane,s breakfasts, and Keith and Jane,s hostpitality.
Jane puts so much creativity into her stewed fruits and cooked breakfasts that you can only compare the breakfast experience to the degustation experience at lunch at Voyageur Wines.
If you love the interaction of fellow guests and hosts at hosted accommodation don't consider anywhere else

We were delighted with our three night stay at Rosewood guesthouse.

It is ideally located on the edge of Margaret River township. An excellent jumping off point for the many attractions of the region and only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shopping area of the town which removed the need to drive anywhere in the evening.

We found our traditional-style room very comfortable. There is also an elegant lounge and breakfast area where guests can relax. The guesthouse itself nestles in a colourful and beautifully kept garden.

The hospitality of the hosts, Jane and Keith, in this B&B was exceptional. Jane gave us a lot of her time with well informed tips on the attractions of the regions, including excellent small wineries which are not nationally known. Hot and cold breakfasts were delicious and varied on a daily basis.

The breakfast room was a great place to exchange information with other guests every morning.
