The room was comfortable and tidy, staff were welcoming and friendly and the location was lovely and peaceful - it really is on the edge of the forest. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Edge of the Forest Motel & Cottages. More
We stayed here overnight while in Perth on holiday. I booked this accommodation after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the desk, who told us about local attractions and things to see, and gave us a map. It is a family run business so we found it very friendly. The accommodation itself is spacious and comfortable with a table looking onto the garden which is beatiful. There are a family of lizards around the property and we were lucky enough to see one of them. There are also many different birds to see there. Great place with close proximity to the town restaurants, shops etc. Highly recommended.

The cottage is perfect for a family or group of friends. Beautifully restored, a great location, plenty of space for everyone. The back and front yard is beautiful with its lovely gardens. The cottage had all the amenities we needed. We will definetly be back, Great property!

We stayed at the Edge of the Forest Cottage for 3 nights recently. The Cottage was well equipped with cooking, BBQ facilities, heated mattresses etc. It is located near to the town centre (quick access to supplies!) and central between the Cape to Cape. It took us a short drive to Cape Naturaliste (norhwards) for a day out exploring the beaches and wineries. The second day was to Cape Leeuwin, another short drive southwards, for Jewel Case as well as the Leeuwin Lighthouse, and more wineries! We had a wonderful time and would have like to stay more nights to explore the trails nearby. Thanks to Alan & Denise for providing the lovely accommodation!

Lovely courtyard gardens with lots of birds and flowers. Contains both private decks and and a social area near the BBQ. Very helpful owners who were terrific at sharing information about the area and booking tours. Very comfy beds and great amenities in the rooms. There was even a little bouquet of flowers. What a great touch! Would definitely stay there again.
