We spent great night on Edge of the forest motel, the hotel is cosy and comfortable. With the bed warmer and heater, we can enjoy warm environments in the winter as well. The motel also have bbq equipment just outside our room and all utensils require for bbq activities. It located about 2 mins drive from Margaret river town which is very convenient location yet provide privacy. We also receive excellent service from staff , and overall, we want to thank you Edge of the forest provide great place for us to stay.

Stayed at the edge of the forest week being 2nd July perfect location nice caretakers / owners .
just a 5min walk to the centre of town the brew house next door nice beers and meals. Bakery is just down the road very good pancakes amazing. Back to the edge of the forest don't expect a large room but it was comfortable for me and my partner the only downside is the plumbing when anyone is having a shower in the complex its pretty loud through the walls but generally all finished by midnight. I Would recommend edge of the forest but saying that if I go back probably would give another place a go.

Many thanks Dominic for your lovely comments and we appreciate you taking the time to review. With regard to the plumbing it can be annoying, however fortunately guests don't usually shower too late.

We loved staying in the cottage. We went as a family group and enjoyed having a separate bedroom/en suite in addition to the main cottage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the town, quiet at night.

Booked this accommodation on Tripadvisor for two main reasons, location to town and the reviews. Both proved to be correct, resulting in an enjoyable stay. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful, walk to the Brewhouse about 100m away for excellent food, beers and wines, great walks to the river from behind the motel and about 10 mins stroll into the centre of town for meals and shopping. The rooms are ok, comfortable beds and modern bathroom with everything you need including a nice little sitting area out the front of the rooms. Very reasonable in price.

Located in very nice and peaceful environment, the room was fairly well equipped but the room size was much smaller than expected and it was very noisy throughout the night due to a heavy thunderstorm.

Many thanks for your review. We did have a very heavy thunderstorm, which fortunately doesn't happen very often.
