The Boathouse is such a great B&B. Very well located on the water with inner harbour views from the front waterfront garden and patio area, and a short (200 meter) stroll from a welcoming cafe and tavern strip providing plenty of coffee, lunch and dinner options (you won't need breakfast, the in house breakfast is delicious). The bedrooms are bespoke and very comfortable and Deb is the perfect host. Wifi and parking are free and the rooms are all air-conditioned. If you are looking to stay in Bunbury you cannot go past Boathouse, it delivers in every way.

Room Tip: All rooms have secure coded entry, if coming in late the front room has external entry so will suit perfectly.

After a lovely welcome by Deborah we enjoyed all the little extras she had left for us and we had a very comfortable night.
The breakfast is unusual in that it is entirely self service and there is no cooked option on offer. However, the fare was excellent and we enjoyed breakfast in the waterfront garden where we were joined by our other genial host, Andy.
This is a 5* B&B rated down as there is some road noise and because of the unusual breakfast arrangements. We certainly recommend.

I have to comment on this place as it was outstanding. Biddy was very friendly and helpful and even though she wasn't there in the morning the breakfast was all set out and we were able to make ourselves at home. The breakfast was continental style with freshly cut up fruit and yoghurt provided to go with our toast etc. It was perfectly adequate and we sat out side and watched dolphins in the channel right in front! The room was beautifully appointed with a huge bed and everything one would need. The bathroom was completely modern and the attention to detail was spot on! Thank you.

Room Tip: The front room has separate access and you can park right outside

I've just picked one of many adjectives that could be used to describe this wonderful BnB. All the rooms are tastefully furnished, even the chandeliers in the lounge don't look over the top. Look at the pictures, try to imagine the peaceful atmosphere, picture the ever-changing view over the water. We haven't seen a dolphin yet but we're working on it. We're staying here two nights so there's time yet. We'd like to come for a week another time and explore the Ferguson Valley. I wonder if there are special rates for longer stays?
Although there is no cooked breakfast we are well filled up!
Just a word of caution, oldies which we are, watch your step in the shower.

We really appreciated our short, overnight, stay here, but the hostess was welcoming and informative. And we were really close to the magnificent, under appreciated, Parade Hotel, where we had the meal of the tour.
The room was comfortable and quiet and we had a very relaxing sleep, and were looked after splendidly. Will stay again if we return.
